Staff at the front desk was friendly upon check-in. Parking was reasonably priced and there was definitely more of it since I stayed at this hotel years ago. We were disappointed in the room though. Description of our room clearly stated it had a Queen size bed, when it most definitely is a full. That was honestly very disappointing as we have a full at home and sleeping in a bigger bed from time to time is nice. I also didn't even know hotels used full beds. The room was also somewhat small. The bathroom was large and it did have a fridge which were helpful. Room also appeared pretty clean. We chose this hotel as it was only a 12 minute walk from a comedy show we were attending, but in the future might pick a different hotel. The bed size situation is just that disappointing.

Lovely hotel with a friendly staff. The free coffee and tea were a welcome treat. Great art and beautifully decorated for the holidays.

Great hotel! Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable and it has great ambiance! We stay there whenever we’re in town for concerts at The Fox Theatre or Knitting Factory.

Great place to stay to be downtown and near the theaters. Definitely more of an adult oriented hotel. It was quieter than I anticipated as it is close to railroad. Would stay here again.

We've stayed at the Montvale many times. Our experience is always smooth and reliable. The beds are super comfortable, the staff friendly, the rooms quiet (considering the location), and it's walking distance to everything downtown! We'll be back again, I'm sure!

The stay was great. Room was awesome. The only issue I had was the bed had bed impressions that cause my sleep to be off a little.

Beautiful place! I wish I could have stayed longer. So much better than the sterile looking chain hotels I’m accustomed to. Will definitely come back!

This is a great refurbished boutique hotel in very centrally located area of downtown Spokane. Close to Arena, Podium, Knitting Factory, Riverfront Park, lots of restaurants and interesting shops, plus so much more. I have stayed here before and always feel confident about returning. I highly recommend the Montevale and look forward to another stay in the not so distant future I hipe.
