Oxygen Apartments

The apar**ent we stayed in was shabby and dirty and the carpet needed replacing as the soles of our feet were black after walking on it. The crockery, cutlery and chopping boards were all marked and needed replacing.

Very conveniently located and within walking distance to the Queen St Mall and many local restaurants in Spring Hill and Fortitude Valley. Free car parking was a bonus. We stayed in a 2-BR apar**ent which was very spacious with 2 bathrooms and even a study nook which was perfect for me who needed to do a bit of work on holidays. Although the building and fixtures are not brand new, the furnishings were new and in good condition. We saw that there was a gym and pool but did not utilize them. Would definitely stay again.

These apar**ents are in a good location, close to CBD and transport links, free parking is great and the staff at check in were friendly. Unfortunately, the positives end there. We were in a one bedroom unit. It faces the street and was extremely noisy all night There is no soundproofing at all. The air-conditioning thermostat would not work - so cooling was full on - and we froze, or off and we cooked. between the street noise the lack of temperature control, sleep for the last 4 days has been rather scant! We could not sit in the settee - it was so worn out we got a sore back in a few minutes. Cleaning was very superficial - housekeeper clearly does not see in the corners! It is the first time I have ever had to go and ask - twice - for toilet paper arriving at accommodation. In summary these apar**ents are very tired and badly in need of a re-fit. Many of the photos do not reflect the apar**ent we had. I don't like writing such a negative review - but it is only fair to warn other potential guests what to expect.

Happy to recommend these apar**ents. We stayed here for 11 nights and were happy with the apar**ent (3 bedroom/2 bathroom) and facilities. (3 adults, 2 kids) Apar**ent was comfortable and kitchen was sufficient for our requirements. Gym,pool and spa were great. Kids loved the pool and awesome grass area to play. Awesome places to eat nearby and 7/11 downstairs. Leisa at reception was awesome and so helpful. As was Shane. Thanks for a great stay.
