The boat has very rich interiors which made us feel like princely. The owner made us feel at home. The seved dinner and breakfast in the room on our request. In my 7 days tour of kashmir this was the only place that did not see us as an opportunity to make money out of us. Would recommend this place to everyone looking for a houseboat stay.

I visited Srinagar first in 2021 and landed up at Inshallah Houseboat. Never have I ever thought that I’ll return to this place again. But I fell in love with Nigeen so much that now I visit Kashmir almost 3 times a year during different seasons. It’s was my 7th trip to Srinagar in Dec23. Staying on a houseboat is a unique and enchanting experience. The tranquility of Nigeen Lake and the picturesque surroundings add to the charm. Owais Wangnoo has been the constant since my first trip. He has always ensured that we feel comfortable at the houseboat. He can help you out with any other requirements like taxi, shikara ride, planning Kashmir itinerary and will genuinely guide to the right place to buy Pashmina and other handicrafts. You can really count on him for genuine suggestions. The houseboat is always well-maintained, offering a blend of traditional Kashmiri décor and modern amenities like AC in summers and heaters in winters. The washroom also got hot water during winters. Umer, the caretaker, provides excellent service and Tariq, the cook, ensures that the meals served onboard are a delightful introduction to local cuisine. Waking up to the picturesque view of Zabarwan range from the boat created lasting memories of different seasons. A houseboat stay in Srinagar is a must for those seeking a blend of comfort and cultural immersion.

Let me start with the location, for people who are looking for a little secluded experience away from the hustle bustle of the Dal Lake, Nigeen is a quieter option, serene and peaceful. But if you love being in a tourist centric location, then this houseboat is not for you. The houseboat itself is pretty decent, for the price I paid it was worth. The staff is very co-operative (most Kashmiris are) and very helpful. The amenities cannot be termed 3 star, but they are good enough. If you are not a lavish spender on hotels, this place is recommended.

We have stayed there for 2 nights. Spacious space and very comfortable. Staff Tarek bhai and ***ager Mr. Riaz is really caring and helpful. Great view and best food i have ever tasted. Safe and secured. ************* great experience.

Location at Nigeen lake is excellent. Owner mr Riyaz is a seasoned host. Caretaker ( missed the name) took very extra care. Breakfast was like home cooked. We took four bed rooms. Deck could have been bigger. Strongly recommended. U will love it.

Awesome service. By mudasir ahmad wangnoo.. Also The houseboat has a royal appearance . Very clean.rooms are beautifully decorated and also the food wow . Dinner and breakfast delicious. One of the oldest houseboat in srinagar and budget friendly . I contacted mudasir wangnoo. He personally met me from a pickup location and he arrainged one of the best rooms for me. The most wonderful experience.. Beautifully maintained, lovely interiors, gives a royalty feel.. Very hospitable staff.. Awesome food... Will totally recommend this stay at srinagar... This lake and it's shikaar ride was fabulous...
