Hotel Pyrgos Boutique & Suites

What a wonderful hotel.You feel yourself home.Very clean and peaceful.Thank you Maria for your help,service and smiling face.We are having wonderful time .if I will have the chance again to come to Chios,Pyrgos Rodocanachi suites will be the only place to stay.

I couldn’t visit my PARENTS!!!! because of politics in this hotel. First time ever I have such stupid dialog with receptionists, completely not friendly atmosphere… I lived in another hotel !!! near this one, I didn’t use shower, toilet here in Pyrgos. I just came to visit my parents, to sit with them on balcony and have a nice conversation … but it was ruined .. . I will not recommend this hotel to my friends

The hotel is located right at the beginning of the city, next to the main road, and is thus a little affected by traffic. Good walking distance to everything, but no suitable beaches nearby. We took the car or a bathing boat to the beaches when we were going to swim. We had a budget two bedroom suite which was nice but quite old and worn. We had two balconies one of which had a nice view of the sea. On the balcony there was a large trap or poison trap for rats, and every morning there was rat droppings on the balcony floor, which was very unpleasant and made us unable to sleep with the balcony door open. The hostess claimed it was bird droppings, but I know what mouse poop looks like ... Not nice! The hotel is marketed with a nice pool and it does not say anything about that it would be seasonal or out of ordet, but on our visit it was drained. It was disappointing because we had deliberately chosen a hotel with a pool. The hotel did nothing to compensate us for this, either through a reduced price or other benefits, even though we expressed our disappointment. But perhaps most remarkable is that we booked this hotel with full cancellation until a certain date, and even though we canceled within the stated time for free cancellation, the hotel refused to refund our down payment. Instead, we received a voucher for a later visit, and we thus had to have our money outstanding for a year before we could go. This would have been perfectly fine if the reservation had not been cancellable, given the corona, but with our booking conditions it would have been completely cancellable. This procedure is completely unacceptable.
