I wanted to take a moment to commend the late shift staff on the 14th. They were extremely helpful and attentive, addressing all my queries with a friendly demeanor. Similarly, the young lady on the day shift was also very welcoming and supportive.
Initially, I was quite upset as I had to wait outside for someone to let me in. Given the intense heat and my struggle to drag my luggage from the train station, it was quite uncomfortable. I later learned that the receptionist had stepped away for a moment, which I understand. Despite the challenging conditions, the staff's positive attitude ultimately made my experience much more pleasant. Thank you for your assistance!”

It would have been helpful to have hand soap provided in the bathroom. Additionally, the soundproofing could be improved, as noise from other rooms was quite audible.”

„I stayed at Wow Hostel in Tainan and had a great experience. The location is super convenient—right near Tainan Station, so it’s easy to get around. The hostel is clean, modern, and has a really cozy vibe.
The staff were friendly and gave helpful tips about local spots to visit. I stayed in a dorm room, and it was comfortable with privacy curtains, personal lights, and lockers.
There’s a shared kitchen and lounge area that’s perfect for relaxing or meeting other travelers. Overall, it’s a great budget-friendly place to stay in Tainan. I’d definitely come back!”

Tho bring eye mask and earplugs cause it gets noisy and bright in the morning.

GGośćGot a single room with a private bathroom, and wow! After a lovely two weeks in Narita, Busan, Seoul, Macau, Taipei, and Kaohsiung, I never thought that Tainan would be my coziest stay, but it really was! My room was so spacious and clean, which was so great, since I tend to be a bit of a hypochondriac about hotel sanitation. Spending my days wandering around Tainan and then coming home to the Red House, turning on a kdrama on the flat-screen TV, and drifting off to sleep on my comfy lil futon, genuinely might've been the highlights of my trip :) Great job, please keep it up!!!

GGośćI had a truly wonderful stay at here. The location couldn’t be better—right across from Tainan Park, it’s peaceful yet still within walking distance to the train station and local eateries. The atmosphere of the inn feels both cozy and refreshing, surrounded by greenery that makes you forget you’re in the middle of the city.
The room was spotless and thoughtfully designed, with natural light, soft bedding, and just the right touch of simplicity. Every detail showed the owner’s care—from the locally roasted coffee in the common area to the warm welcome when I arrived. I especially loved the small garden space where you can relax with a cup of tea in the afternoon.
What stood out most was the hospitality. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready with local travel tips and food recommendations. Their genuine kindness made me feel like I was visiting an old friend rather than staying at a hotel.
I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Tainan. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates comfort, warmth, and a touch of nature in the heart of the city.

MMANSOOR LARIThe hostel is easy to reach from train and bus station walking around 30 minutes. The front desk staff are very professional and have good online check in form.
The sitting area is quite good and traditional and have a reasonable pantry with free hot drinks and some snacks.
The dorm rooms are of good size with large spacious bed with curtains. The shower and toilets are on different floors and are reasonably clean.
The building looks quite a traditional structure and you need to climb several steps and the staircases are very long and narrow. If you have many luggage and suitcases you will have a good workout in reaching your room.
Overall the place gives a good traditional experience of Tainan and Taiwan and its worth the money charged. The location is the most ideal and you can walk to nearly all important tourist places from here. They also provide their own folded direction map.
This was for me the best professionally managed owner managed hostel I have ever stayed in and you really feel immersed in Tainan staying at this Hostel.

FFelicityfyMy booking consisted of 2 double beds however due to a mismatch of details from trip, upon contacting the homestay, they notified that they only provide 1 double bed for every room.
Other than that mishap, the stay was pleasant enough. Be prepared for the steep steps of Tainan.
Other issues with the homestay was that there were no toothbrush/toothpaste provided, no proper bathroom mat (it was the spongy type), no proper heating in the room. The entrance was a bit hard to find especially when it gets dark.
They provided 2 waterbottles for us and subsequent refills were obtained from the dispenser in the main area on Level 1. There is a public fridge and toilet in the main area too.
Closeby amenities include street food alleyway with some clothes shops, 7/11, Watsons. Location was a bus ride away from Tainan Metro so relatively convenient! But .taxi would be even better.

芊芊倫奶奶Jeśli podróżujesz sam i jedziesz pociągiem do Tainan, jest to właściwe miejsce na pobyt! Tuż nad sklepem spożywczym FamilyMart w Qianzhan! Nie wątp w to! Jego wejście to drzwi na lewej ścianie, przez które wchodzi cała rodzina. Transport jest bardzo wygodny. Obrazy na ścianie również mają literacki, młodzieżowy styl, a recepcja wygląda jak kasa biletowa na starym dworcu! Suszarki i pralki są zapewnione! Normalna cena, wszystko jest dostępne!
