„Wonderful place and wonderful family! The best accommodation we stayed in in China. Perfect position very close to the monastery. Very clean. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a snack of dried dates, bread, butter and tzampa, accompanied by some delicious tea. We stayed with this family for two days and they always offered us breakfast, the first day with house tea and fresh bread, the second day with coffee and fried bread. We spent the evening with them and they always kept offering us food and tea, always making us feel welcome. The house is wonderful, ******* style, wooden, always very clean. The beds are really comfortable, and they have a warming blanket. Inside our room we also had an electric heater to warm ourselves, which made the room really warm and cosy. The bathroom has hot water. You can fill your water bottles from the drinking water containers they have in front of each room. We always saw them cleaning the common areas. The owner, his wife and their three children welcomed us warmly like family. I will recommend them to all my friends. Really recommended!”

„Very nice staff and extremely close to the monastery entrance without the noise being too bad, tucked round a corner off the main drag. The rooms are spacious and comfortable - the only issue we had was no hot water for the first night/ morning - after we spoke to the lady at reception it was fine for the remainder of our stay. The bar area is nice, we didn't try the food but very cosy for drinks.”

„Beautiful homestay, the room is nice, the bed and pillows are comfortable, it was overall quite clean but some hair was forgotten in the shower, no big deal. The staff was nice and helpful, they lent us an umbrella to go out when it was raining. The location is not too far from Labrang monastery but a bit far from the center of the town and the place with all the restaurants.”

„A quiet and cozy place with a homely atmosphere and clean and tidy rooms. The common space is charming, built of wood, with comfortable seating and vegetation. The homeowners are pleasant, kind, helpful and with lots of good will. The location is great, less than 2 minutes walk from the main street, about 10 minutes walk to Labrang Monastery.”

„Rzadko piszę recenzje, ale tym razem chcę zostawić pamiątkę. To bardzo ekonomiczny zajazd. Szefowa jest delikatna i miła, szefowa jest prosta i uczciwa, a czysty pokój z tybetańskimi cechami jest niesamowity. Chociaż izolacja akustyczna jest trochę gorsza, to nic w porównaniu z tymi wszystkimi zaletami i można ją zignorować. Nepalskie jedzenie w restauracji na pierwszym piętrze jest całkiem autentyczne. Najbardziej zaskakujące jest to, że kupiłem w tym sklepie rzadką i superteksturalną pamiątkę z podróży - tybetański magnes na lodówkę. W końcu większość pamiątek, które widzę, jest bardzo powszechna. Ten magnes na lodówkę zaprojektowany i wyprodukowany przez samą szefową jest szczególnie wyjątkowy w moich podróżach. Bardzo mi się podoba!!!”

„The guesthouse boasts a very artistic decor, which makes perfect sense as the owners are both university art teachers. The hosts are incredibly welcoming; they offered homemade yak yogurt as a welcome treat and even gave us small soaps as a parting gift. If you're driving, it's best to contact the owners in advance, as the guesthouse is nestled quite deep within a small mountain village. You can't drive directly to it; cars need to be parked on the road opposite the village, and a staff member from the guesthouse will come to pick you up on an electric tricycle. The rooms are clean and tidy, and you can even ask the hostess to light a ******* incense stick for you. In the evening, guests from different places gathered in the courtyard to chat, and it felt just like a group of old friends catching up. Breakfast consisted of a few simple, home-style dishes, but the auntie's cooking was absolutely delicious. The pumpkin and white rice porridge, in particular, was incredibly smooth and creamy – I had several bowls!”
