„The owners were very kind and everything was very clean. I was able to put my luggage there before my check in as I landed early morning. They provided ear plugs and you’re free to grab extra towels. They also serve breakfast which not a lot of capsule hotel does.”

„The hotel is located at the center of Myeongdong so it is easy to go around and all your needs is just around the corner. The room is very clean and spacious with complete amenities. In terms of breakfast. It is well balance. They have bread, cereals, different kind of spreads, Coffee and tea. They are very strict with the ”no noise policy” from 10-7am which I think is good. So all the guest can rest and relax in their respective rooms. The front desk personel can speak fluent English so it is easy to communicate. Overall I'm 100% satisfied with the service. If I'm going back to Korea, I will definitely book again in this hotel.”

„The location is really fantastic. U need not to carry yr shopping bags for long because the hotel is just nearby. It is just located in Myeongdong. Get off at Myeongdong station at gate 4 and walk for 5 minutes then is the hotel. Everything in the hotel is self-served but it doesn't matter. U need not get any help since everything is provided as u see. Especially the pantry is so eye catching. U can wash yr clothes and hv tea or coffee anytime u do.”

„I stayed here for a few days at the end of my solo trip in Korea and it was perfect for what I needed.
The capsules are spacious and comfortable with plenty of storage available under the bed, in the locker room, and at reception.
The communal areas were all really nice and clean, there was a free breakfast, the location is great for transport links and it’s on a street full of bars, restaurants and pocha tents (photo).
It wasn’t a super social place it had a more relaxed vibe, but I did meet some other travellers and the price was also really good so I’d recommend this place to anyone solo travelling!”

For light traveller who can cope with tiny room, I would recommend staying at this hostel if you are mostly outside visiting places. Also. for light sleeper. I would recommend bringing ear plugs with you as the noise isolation is so so.

Pros:
1. The location is excellent, right in Myeongdong and very close to Myeongdong Subway Station, just a few minutes' walk away. There are many restaurants nearby, a coffee shop and a self-service beverage store downstairs, and a convenience store a short walk further – super convenient.
2. The room was quite clean, equipped with air conditioning, a mini-fridge, a full-length mirror, a desktop mirror, a hairdryer, etc. There's a common lounge area on the first floor with a microwave, a refrigerator, and a water dispenser (which provides both hot and ice water).
3. Self-check-in is available. I checked in late at night, and it went very smoothly. Free luggage storage is also a big plus.
4. There's a rooftop terrace with a direct view of Namsan Tower, and the scenery is quite nice.
5. The staff's service attitude was very good.
Cons:
1. The hotel is located on a steep hill. Going down is easy, but climbing up can be a bit challenging. If you have a large suitcase, it might be quite tiring.
2. There's no elevator for guests, but there is a luggage lift. Since I stayed on the second floor, it wasn't a big issue, but if you're on the fifth floor, it might be tiring to walk up.
3. My room was a bit small, just right for one person. For two people, it might feel a bit cramped, and the bathroom was small, making showering a bit inconvenient.
4. The mini-fridge was a bit noisy. I had to unplug it at night when I slept and plug it back in during the day.
I had a wonderful time in Seoul and look forward to my next trip! 🥰

GGośćThe location is not bad, a 3-5 minute walk away from the nearest metro station and a 30-40 minute commute for many of the biggest tourist locations, like Myeongdong or Hongdae. The area is home to many older residents, so please do be mindful of that when visiting! There is a CU and GS25 nearby, along with a few coffee shops and restaurants. The hotel cleanliness was ok, the walls were somewhat beat up and require a new paint job, and the bathroom is ... interesting. It is primarily clean, nothing to be very shocked about. The bathroom quality is odd though. The bathtub drain is just there for decoration, as the water goes straight through the drain and into a drain on the floor. The shower-head, when hung up on the holder, sprays directly forward onto the wall, and not yourself. This is not the best quality, but it definitely is manageable and not much of an inconvenience. The hotel staff were all very nice, and spoke enough English to understand. Room service would come whenever asked for and provided the room with simple amenities, like cooled water bottles, hygiene products, hair-ties, and other similar products. The location does not have any clothes washer, so you are instructed to get your items cleaned at a nearby laundromat. Providing an authentic cultural experience, you could say.

GGośćFirst off, it's important to know that although it's called a ”hotel,” this is definitely a hostel—and they really should update the name to avoid confusing guests.
Location:
The location is great—central and easy to access, with public transportation and convenience stores nearby. That was definitely a plus.
Service:
Service was mixed. One staff member was super helpful and made me feel supported during my stay. Unfortunately, another staff member was the complete opposite—he seemed unwilling to help, often saying ”no” to simple questions or requests just because he didn’t feel like putting in the effort. It made some interactions feel frustrating.
Cleanliness & Staff:
The cleaning staff were wonderful—very patient and kind. The place felt generally clean, and I appreciated their attention to detail.
Amenities:
I liked that there were lockers for bags, but I really wish there was a more secure luggage storage area. The current luggage space is in the hallway, which is accessible to the public, and that made me a bit uneasy. A locked closet or private room for luggage would be much better.
The shared kitchen was a nice touch, and the two-bedroom bunk bed option worked well for me. That said, the room itself was very small barely any space to store your belongings.
One of my favorite features was the small individual lockers in the bedrooms. It gave me peace of mind knowing my important items were locked away safely.
Overall:
This is a decent place for budget travelers who prioritize location and don’t mind hostel-style accommodations. Just manage your expectations and secure your belongings.

Kiedy wychodzisz, pod drzwiami na dole stoi autobus, a kilkaset lat pieszo jest metro.
Wpisałem ten adres w Google, ale przy drzwiach nie było żadnej tabliczki z hotelem, więc trudno było go znaleźć. Prosiłem przechodniów o pomoc, ale nie mogli jej znaleźć! W końcu zobaczyłem dom nr 130 i wszedłem do środka.
Minusem jest masaż tajski. Próbowałem różnych pakietów przez dwie noce z rzędu. To prawda, że Tajka słyszy dźwięk dzwonienia całych kości. Techniki masażu są bardzo skuteczne.
Hostel znajduje się na 3. piętrze, bez windy
Niedawno wyremontowana recepcja nie została jeszcze wykończona, a w recepcji wciąż znajduje się stos materiałów dekoracyjnych, więc zameldowanie jest bardzo proste, wystarczy podać personelowi swoje imię i nazwisko, a on poda numer pokoju i hasło, nawet bez potwierdzania konieczności posiadania paszportu! Personel ma świetne nastawienie i zawsze się uśmiecha!
Każdy pokój ma blokadę hasłem, ponieważ jest to nowo otwarty sklep! Pościel i poszewki na kołdry są zupełnie nowe, a ręczniki są również nowe i czyste. Każde łóżko ma własną niezależną szafę. Możesz zabrać ze sobą własny zamek, ręcznik i listwę zasilającą o europejskim standardzie! Jeśli pochodzisz z Francji, po prostu przynieś swój własny europejski kabel do ładowania i użyj go bezpośrednio! Jest żel pod prysznic i szampon, ale musisz zabrać ze sobą własną odżywkę, szczoteczkę do zębów i pastę do zębów!
Podczas mojego dwudniowego pobytu spotkałem Chińczyków, którzy przyjechali do Korei w pogoni za gwiazdami.
Drugiego wieczoru spotkałem dziewczynę z Chengdu i dziewczynę z Lyonu we Francji. Rozmawialiśmy niezręcznie po angielsku i francusku przez ponad godzinę. W końcu popularna nauka pozwoliła jej opuścić kraj i odwiedzić Zakazane Miasto została przeniesiona do Pekinu na 9 godzin. Pozwolono jej jechać. Zjedliśmy kaczkę po pekińsku i poprosiliśmy ją o pobranie V i związanie jej karty bankowej, a my dodaliśmy ją do znajomych!

GGośćWe were able to locate the guest house easily using Naver Map. However, our first struggle was how to reach the destination itself.
The guesthouse is located in an uphill area, almost near Namsan Cable Car (600km/20min walk). A great tip we discovered (after struggling of walking uphill for 2 days 😂) was using the escalators/elevators near the Ihoeyeong Memorial Hall. Go straight from there and you’ll find a 7-Eleven convenience store upon crossing the street. Go left then right at the first wide alley way you see, it should be uphill. Keep on walking until you see a signage of mama guest house on your right side.
We booked a day before our arrival so we could immediately check-in in our rooms. A note welcomed us and our keys were found at the reception area. Pls don’t forget to remove your shoes and change into the slippers they provide found in the shoe cabinet at the left side of the entrance.
Our rooms were next to each other, but differ in size. Bathroom was okay, but I hope they’ll fix the sink’s pipe problem in room 104 since it leaks on the floor upon using. I suggest buying shower filters (5,000 Won) since the water in SK is quite harsh. I suggest to test how you’ll adjust the temperature when showering. There were no bidets in our bathrooms.
Always bring your keycard with you whenever you go out. They don’t go into your rooms like hotels would. If you have any requests, just leave a note on their desk (ie. New towels, tissue, etc.) They also don’t have laundry machines. Do not eat inside the rooms, only in the kitchen which is in the basement.
If you feel like your trash bins are getting full, trash bins are found in the lobby and segregate everything according to their waste category. Just think of it as you’re staying on your own room.
Walls are thin, made of light wood materials so I wouldn’t suggest talking nor listening to your phone loudly.
Breakfast menu were cereals with milk, bread and flavored jam, and instant noodles. You can only consume what’s inside the fridge unless there’s a note that a room guest owns it. You can cook and buy your own food, just make sure you clean up after. You can also fill-up your water bottles here.
Going to different areas are easy too since it’s near Myeongdong Station exit 1. If you’re planning to go shopping in Myeongdong, just go straight after exit 1 and you should see E-Mart across the street then cross on the first crosswalk you see. If you want to enter the “main” street, go left until you see the bug HBAF building.
Overall, I think our stay was a good since the staff we get see was very accommodating to our requests. I just hope they’ll fix some of their bathroom leakage.
