Local hotel in central Kathmandu Not far from Thalem and Durbar square Good hotel if you are travelling on a budget while enjoying a nice Nepali deco with a patio-stupa in the center of the property. Room was pretty old but reasonable for the price!

The staff are incredibly attentive, and there are even two adorable hotel cats. They offer delicious and nutritious breakfasts to cater to guests with different dietary needs. Neat and clean. And the price is also affordable.

Kathmandu is a stressful city with a sad underbelly. At the Green Horizon, you're removed from it all and greeted with a cheerful smile every day. I got a lovely room with balcon, big bathroom and booked three days straight away. Also the food in the restaurant is cheap and delicious. Green Horizon is a place to relax. Would come back every time.

Location is alright, there’s occasional cockroaches running past you when you are in the room, cleanliness has a lot to improve on. Worst part is that I booked a single room and was given a room next to the elevator with a window without curtain, anyone tall enough would be able to look into my room and everything in it, to add on to that, the room was next to the elevator and you can hear every footstep and noise/chat coming from the corridor, and when the elevator moves, there’s this super unnecessary music that runs with it so you would get a sense of that throughout the day and night. When I went to the receptionist to ask for a different room, she told me there’s no other rooms available and I have to pay an extra 1500 rupee to upgrade to a different room, that amount, adding with the original I paid for- would already be much higher than a standard deluxe room. Obviously she and the hotel was trying to scam me by leveraging on giving a super lousy room at first. Even though they eventually agreed to change room for me at no charge, I was honestly traumatised by this hotel and was uncomfortable through the stay. Then at check-out in the next morning, the guy was reluctant to let me go asking if I had already paid and making calls to confirm about it. Overall there’s surely better rooms for similar price in Thamel, so do try to skip this hotel unless you like some good memorable reasons to spoil your trip.

10min away on foot from the airport, perfect for a short stay to catch the next flight. Very funktional, personnel very helpful and kind. Breakfast is also good, we had the Indian breakfast.

Room is dirty and have a lot of mold, so bad smell inside. Location is great, also nice Chinese restaurant. Overall it’s ok for the price.

The room was beautiful neat and clean.Nice experience with the food .I did not like the location the entrance was in a sloppy area while taking out my luggage it dropped and got damaged.Room service available.Friendly staff.It is nearby airport so if you dont have heavy luggage can walk-in from airport.Its good for couple ,family,friend or solo travellers.Price is very reasonable .

Musisz iść pod górę, a potem w dół, żeby skręcić w prawo. To nie jest dobre dla tych ciągnących pudła. W ciągu dnia w pokoju jest bardzo gorąco, ale na zewnątrz jest chłodno. Przyjdę ponownie pod koniec października. Łazienki są na pierwszym piętrze i są czyste. Właściciel jest serdeczny i przyjazny, mieszka tu cała rodzina Jest tam mały ogródek, balkon i niebieskie wiadro do namaczania ubrań i suszenia ich haha Idź prosto drogą do końca, a dotrzesz do placu Durbar. Szef ma tu wszelkiego rodzaju informacje turystyczne, w tym autobusy do Pokhary. Zabrał mnie też na dworzec autobusowy, który jest bardzo blisko. Możesz dokonać rezerwacji za pośrednictwem booking. Nasze oprogramowanie jest przedpłacone. Szef może o tym nie wiedzieć, ale poprosiłem go, żeby zrobił zdjęcie!
