„One of the best hotels we stayed at throughout our vacation in Yunnan! The hotel is beautiful, clean, and even has a bidet , Malaysians will definitely love this. What I loved the most, other than the hotel itself, is the owner. He is incredibly kind and helpful. He carried our luggage to the room, and when we checked out, he also took our bags to the taxi. He even provided pick-up and drop-off services to the train station when we contacted him before we arrived at the train station but of course with charges but its okay i think its cheaper than we booked didi by ourselves. He patiently waited by the street until we got into the taxi. I truly enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is also located near the Old Town, just within walking distance. To any Malaysians visiting Dali, I highly recommend staying at this hotel. And most importantly, the owner can speak English! 😂”

„The hotel is at the sixth floor of a building inside a compound. The check-in process was very smooth. The location is a bit far away from the main attractions but is close to the train station, and the view from the room is amazing. It is a pity that our stay was so short, but for us it is was a pleasure to have our breakfast delivered to our building with ******* and enjoy it in our room with the nice view. The service was very nice connecting us with a driver for the day, and offering tips around the area. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.”

„I had a soothing and comfortable short stay at 山隅一舍. The staff was very personable, accommodating, and kind, proactively offering tea/coffee and prepared fruit. The room was clean and had a great view of the courtyard. At check-in, she even offered to upgrade the two-bed room I had booked to a room with a single larger bed but I was happy to stay in the original room as it was already prepared. I stillfound it to be a very thoughtful offer. The beds were also equipped with heating mats, which offered great sleep in the winter weather. The neighbors have some roosters that rise early, but I found it quite charming and fitting for the “out of the big city” ambiance. I could honestly just sit in the courtyard all day watching the cat and the fish. It was truly a tranquil oasis in a town that sees many domestic and international tourists. The breakfast also tasted clean, fresh, and was promptly prepared by the host when I woke up. She was also happy to offer recommendations to both myself and other guests (I even overheard her going the extra mile, offering to pickup pastries for the other guests to try at their request). The B&B is situated very close to the ancient town without being overwhelming, which although quite commercialized, is still a fun stroll since it’s nearby. The location is also a short DiDi ride away from many sights along Erhai Lake. Dali is full of independently-run accommodations and shops like this, but this one stood out for its great hospitality and soothing environment. The cost performance was also great. A hidden gem for sure!”

„I accidentally found the newly opened homestay in Bay Bridge, and the experience is full! The authentic Bai people's houses run by the locals are elegantly decorated, with exquisite sculptures of the special walls, and full of Bai people's customs. The location is excellent, very close to the Bohai Sea, it is also very convenient to go to S Bay, and it is super comfortable to go out for a walk to see the sea. The room is fully equipped with a constant temperature kettle, the details are intimate, comparable to the five-star hotel, especially friendly to traveling with children. The manager is warm and hospitable, treats people sincerely, and also intimately upgrades the room for us. The small courtyard is quiet and comfortable, and it is comfortable to live. „The best hotel experience of this trip is mainly due to the hotel's service. The butler, Liu, is very attentive and meticulous, which is the best service I've ever experienced. Super awesome!!! The hotel scenery is beautiful, located on the edge of Shuanglang Scenic Area, and every angle is very photogenic. The room facilities are complete and considerate, and there are very complete supplies for children, clean and tidy. There is a fruit plate when we arrive. In the evening, they also send good night milk, and the children really like the kittens in the shop. Butler Liu introduced the surrounding attractions, delicious food, and matters needing attention in detail, really considering for customers, and the experience is super good. Next time I come to Dali, I will stay here again👍”

All my requests and queries were answer promptly. They make good suggestion and give advice which improve my travel plans together with my family greatly. The room was clean and tasty decorated so is the breakfast. Although it was served in a different building but it is just 3 mins way by walking. Not to mention that the hotel are surrounded by lots of different type of restaurant, eatery, bakery and convenient stores. It is also located within walking distance to Dali Ancient Old Town and San yue street.

MMrs LeafIf I could, I’ll give a score of 100/10! This is such a fantastic experience staying here. What is so impressive is the SERVICE and the actual room facilities. The staff is soooooooo friendly and helpful - he basically helped me plan my itinerary every day because I came with zero plans and only wanted to relax. He helped me to plan my route and book a car for day use. And the driver is amazing too - he brought me to try 扎染 tie dye even when I didn’t know anything about it. He made sure I went to a local experience instead of expensive tourist trap. And he’s great at taking photos too! Back to the staff. He would understand what I’m interested in and then give suggestions that I’ll like. Amazing. And there is even a whole list of things to watch out for when visiting all the tourists attractions. When you arrive, they’ll also message you all the places to eat. There is also a convenience store right downstairs if you want to buy anything. They also gives you instructions if you want food delivery. So detailed!! And they are so proud of the fact that their rooms are exactly what it looked like on the app. So clean so new so amazing. Look at that view! You wake up to the view of the vast sea. And there is a giant bath tub for you to experience soaking in bubble bath (also given) at the same time. The toilets are always the make or break when travelling. And the toilets are amazing again. AUTOMATIC flush and the seat cover automatically opens and close. My goodness. And the shower has different outlets if you want some form of water acupuncture 🤣 very modern. And they even have a towel dryer/heater!!! You can dry anything small and it’ll be dry and crisp. Normally hotel pillows give me headaches. But not here! They have the latex foam pillow and also the normal fluffy pillows. It is so suitable and comfortable for me who is accustomed to memory foam pillows. How can accommodation get so detailed and excellent? Breakfast is another wonderful experience. You go the dining area and an aunty cooks porridge or noodles or meat buns or corn or sweet potatoes and serve them to you. There is even soya bean drink and fritters and lots of sauces and seasonings and small bites. And there is unlimited bottled beverages like honey jasmine tea or oolong tea and fruits and coffee. How do they even make a profit? And there is even a place to rest and relax and drink tea if you come with friends. I can’t wait to come back here with more friends and family and let me experience what I enjoyed so much here. Thank you to the staff and to the boss! 😁😍

Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by two staff members who waited patiently for us despite the chilly breeze. They efficiently took care of our luggage, ensuring a seamless check-in process. The rooms offered breathtaking views and a refreshing breeze, further enhanced by the delightful welcome tea break snacks. The rooms were well-equipped with essential amenities, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches, including a projector that allowed us to enjoy a fun karaoke session. To top it all off, the staff even prepared an early breakfast for us, which was truly appreciated.

GGośćService was fantastic, the host was superb! Place was clean, convenient, and included all that one could need on a vacation. In the heart of Ancient Dali, this was perfect for food, entertainment, and shopping. It is also minutes away from the famous Cangshan mountain, and the host is very considerate in assisting you with any arrangement you'd like, including cabs for railway and airport transportation. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the room matched exactly the photos that are on the site. Very often this is not the case. So, all in all it was a very pleasant experience at this location. Would definitely stay again and certainly would recommend this to anyone travelling to Dali. As a single female, I found this place to be very safe...especially with a considerate host, who looks out for you!
