I loved Nukumori No Yado Furukawa! I was an American solo traveler, but my wife is Japanese (we have 2 boys), so I am very familiar with Japanese culture. I wanted to go to a place that Japanese people would love, not a tourist-focused place. From the moment I entered, the service was excellent. I was greeted, checked in quickly, then accompanied to my room for explanations of how everything operates. My room was very comfortable. The facilities, including bath area, foot soaking areas, lobby, lounges, etc. - were all clean and comfortable. The lounge next to the lobby was a cozy place to relax, and most of the lounges included food and drink during at least some point of the day. I visited in mid-October so the leaves were changing color and the temperature outside was crisp but not too cold. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding. I hope to return again with the rest of my family. Highly recommended!

The location of this hotel is excellent, being so close to the Susukino Metro station. You can walk to Nikka Whisky in just 5 minutes and Ganso Sapporo Ramen Yokocho in 10 minutes. The hotel is brand new, modern, and very clean. They even provide homemade cookies for guests, which are delicious!

I stayed here for one night and had a great experience. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and they explained everything clearly at check-in. They even arranged the best room for me, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay. Thank you so much!

So far so good, it has an independent washing machine with dryer function in the room and air conditioning that is able to be controlled by temperature and mode.

Great for solo short stay. Still a bit of hike from Sapporo station especially if you have large luggage (plenty of stairs in the underground passage) Some hair here and there. Not the cleanest but it's nothing serious Washing machine and dryer on ground floor. 200 yen to wash 100 yen for 30min drying. Great for summe season

We had a great stay at Smile Hotel Sapporo. The location is excellent. It is close to entertainment areas, with easy access to the bus stop and subway station. The airport bus stop is also very close, just about a 3-minute walk from the hotel. The staff were nice and helpful, and the free amenities for guests were a nice bonus. The only thing I’d suggest is having a free water refill available. Overall, I love Japan, and you really can’t go wrong staying here.

The room size although quite tight for 2 people but nevertheless it is comfortable. The room amenities was quite good too. The staff was helpful during my stay there and although the hotel didn’t provide any airport transfer service, but you may ask the front lobby to book your taxi. The best things was the hotel provide a luggage storage services. The location wise although not that close, but it’s quite convenient, a 6-7 minutes walk to the nearest station and 4 minutes walk to the tram.

Okno w pokoju jest dość dźwiękoszczelne, mimo że hotel znajduje się tuż przy ruchliwej ulicy. Dobrze się wyspaliśmy, z wyjątkiem dwóch nocy, kiedy w środku nocy (od północy do pierwszej) słyszeliśmy głośny hałas z innego pokoju. Musieliśmy dostarczyć duży bagaż na lotnisko, skąd miała go odebrać firma przewozowa Yamato. The room this time was the highlight of my trip. **Ambience:** My impression of this hotel is how incredibly quiet it is. Initially, I thought staying next to the elevator would be noisy, but the soundproofing is excellent – it's really peaceful. There were a lot of Korean and Western tourists, and they were all very considerate; there was no loud chatter. Even with our average sleep quality, being by the elevator didn't bother us at all. **Cleanliness:** If I had to pick a tiny flaw, it might be that the duvet cover wasn't zipped up, and I noticed the inner duvet looked a bit yellowed. I didn't inspect it closely, though. **Location:** Extremely convenient. It's only about 50 meters to the subway station. I thought I'd be trekking miles this trip, but it turned out to be just 50 meters, haha! It's quite close to Odori Park and about two stops from Sapporo Station. While it's not right in the absolute city center, overall, it's very convenient. **Facilities:** There's a small fridge, which was great for sorting out breakfast every day and also perfect for storing some drinks. The facilities feel relatively new and I was quite satisfied.

Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The hotel offers great value for money, with a good balance of comfort and price. The location is excellent—convenient and easy to get around, especially in the Susukino area. The onsen was a big plus. It was clean, relaxing, and not crowded, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Housekeeping is provided every three days, which was not an issue for me. However, I wish the trash in the room had been collected daily. Leaving garbage in the room for several days felt a bit unhygienic and could be improved. Aside from that, everything was well-managed, and I would still recommend this hotel for its location, onsen, and overall value.
