„Położenie hotelu jest dobre, ale hotel sam to stary budynek, jeśli nie lubisz brudny dywan i stary styl budynku, to sugeruję, żebyś poszedł gdzie indziej. Nie miałem nic przeciwko przyjęciu opcji cenowej, to był najniższy w okolicy. Zalogowanie się i wylogowanie procesu było trochę zagubione, prawie nikt nie jest tam, aby pomóc, ale w pełni zautomatyzowane przez kiosk. Byłoby lepiej, gdyby było jasne wyjaśnienie przed przyjazdem.”

„## Location Unbeatable location. It's within walking distance of Gwanghwamun, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and Deoksugung Palace. It's also close to City Hall, Myeongdong, Anguk, and Insadong, making it rich in commercial facilities. However, being in the Central Business District (CBD), the surroundings can be bustling with many office workers. ## View The view was also exceptional. However, I expect the quality of the view to vary significantly depending on the room line. In my case, it was a section of the Pagoda Tower that offered a great line of sight, with a panoramic view of the Euljiro building line – Hanhwa Building, Mirae Asset, Shinhan Bank – and the Cheonggyecheon Stream stretching out. While it might not appeal to those who find city views stifling, I personally found it very pleasing. ## Room I received an upgrade to a Jacuzzi Suite, and since the bed was separated from the rest of the space by a door, the bed didn't get damp like it sometimes does at Banyan Tree. The living room with the jacuzzi also didn't feel overly humid. The bedding and other furniture were impeccably clean. I was initially concerned because there was construction going on in the building during my visit, but I barely heard any noise. It seemed like a lot of attention was paid to soundproofing. The late check-out was also reasonably priced at 20,000 KRW, and overall, it was an excellent experience. ## Service Overall, the service was excellent, though I subtly felt that the staff weren't entirely accustomed to handling requests yet. However, this isn't to say there was a lack of professionalism. For some unknown reason, perhaps overbooking, I received a room upgrade without any inconvenience whatsoever. Any difficulties or questions I had during my stay were addressed promptly and smoothly. However, having to use a personal phone for room service or inquiries felt a bit awkward and was a slight downside. ## Overall Review A superb hotel that I would definitely revisit. It has solid fundamentals, reasonable pricing, and is just a minute's walk from Cheonggyecheon Stream, perfect for a stroll anytime. Its location is ideal for accessing major tourist spots anywhere in Seoul, including Myeongdong, City Hall, Gwanghwamun, Anguk, and Namsan. However, I wouldn't recommend it for those looking for a pure 'hotelcation' (a vacation spent entirely at the hotel). It's highly recommended if sightseeing is a major part of your trip.”

„Location: insadong is 15 min walking distance to Bukchon Village and palaces. 20 min to Myeongdong. 2 min to subway. Very centrally located. Staff: very helpful. On the day we had to leave at 6:30 to go on bus trip, they were able to arrange pre-packed sandwiches. Amenities: ramen and ice cream everyday after public bath. Our kids love it. Suggestions: to provide kids slippers. The onsen is a public bath, not real onsen water if this is of your priority We had a great time!! It is highly recommended!”

„Located very close to famous myeongdong street. Very close to bus stop and myeondong teain station. Easy if use aiport limousine bus from incheon bcause the stop just 80 m from entrance. A list of halal restaurant nearby for muslm travellers for exmple mari meokja just infrom hotel, kampung ku and busan jib around 300 m from hotel and many more. Other attraction are within walking distance The staff were kind enough to let us chexk in 1 hr earlier. Room is spacious and clean. Can see namsan tower from the room”

„Reception is at level 7, anywhere above level 7, you need to tap hotel card to press elevator button. Check in and check out process is smooth but south korea is strict to their check in time. I was unable to check in earlier. Hotel is 3-5 min walk to Balsan Station. Location is considered convenient, there is a CU store downstairs and some restaurants, paris baguette around. However, it is slightly far from most seoul atttractions, about 45-60 minutes away. I stayed on level 13. Room was dark but not obvious from the picture. I think they were suppose to have a standing lamp at corner of room but no ceiling light or lamp there. The light at the door is also gone. I actually feedback about the light to the reception after 1st night stay but nothing was done over next 2 nights. Hotel Mfelice is not too good at problem solving. Cleanliness was all right, this hotel is aged so you can visibly see spots on carpets, dust on less used area etc. Shower water pressure is easy to adjust, warm water is consistent but the shower floor is very slippery. Elderly and children to take note. And the bottle container provided for body wash, shampoo is difficult to squeeze. Maybe that is the intention, to discourage guests to use too much! Toilet has bidet. They provide towels (south korea uses face towel as bath towels now so they are smaller in size but hotel provides 2 for each guest) but if you need other shower amenities such as toothbrush, toothpaste etc, you need to buy a set from reception. I think it was 3,000won.”

„We stayed for three nights and were very satisfied overall. HotelType: Serviced apartment Room: Simple design and clean Transport: Fairly convenient – 5-minute walk to City Hall Station; 12-minute walk to Myeongdong shopping district Surroundings: Plenty of restaurants, cafés, and convenience stores. Before 11 PM, some lively street noise may be heard in the room, but it generally didn’t disturb our sleep. We booked the Private Terrance Spa Room, where the elevator opens directly into our room. The staff had prepared aromatic oils in advance, so we were greeted with a pleasant fragrance upon entering. The room is divided into two main sections: 1. Kitchen & dining area – Though it looks bare at first glance, the storage cabinets are fully equipped with essentials, including a microwave and fridge. 2. Sleeping area – A nice surprise was that the room had two bathrooms, one with a shower (a lifesaver since we were traveling with two teenagers—you know how long they like to stay in the bathroom! 😆). Having two bathrooms was incredibly convenient for us. Some Notes 1) Before check-in, inform the hotel of your arrival time so they can prepare in advance. 2) No traditional lobby. There’s only one entrance. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor for the front desk. (If you prefer a dedicated concierge or a grand lobby, this might not suit you.) 3) Front desk is not 24/7, but they’ll exchange contact details (e.g., WhatsApp) so you won’t have trouble reaching them during your stay. 4) Daily service includes fresh towels, bottled water replenishment, and trash removal. Full room cleaning is provided every four days. 5) Bathtub drainage must be completed by 11 PM, allow **over an hour** for draining. Commercial bath bombs are not permitted; purchase approved ones from the hotel if needed. 6) For WOWPASS user, 2-min walk to GS25, a wowpass machine provides top up, buy snd sell KWR.”
