„Wanda Yue Hotel is in a perfect location in Wudang — ideal for exploring the famous mountains and temples, while also being conveniently close to McDonald’s and Starbucks for anyone missing a taste of home. The breakfast was very nice with plenty of options to start the day well. Overall, a great stay and highly recommended.”

„If you don’t speak the local language, I do not recommend staying at this hotel. It was incredibly difficult getting both on, and off the mountain “scenic area”. Some hotels in Trip reached out to us in advance to help coordinate transportation, this one does not. Your only way to contact the hotel is by calling, which isn’t feasible if you don’t speak the language. The hotel website showed that parking was available, so I thought we would be able to get there by DiDi, as long as I paid the fee to get the car into the park. This was not the case. We did see private vehicles, but I’m not sure what goes into that, but I believe 4 wheel drive is one requirement. So with our luggage, he dropped us off at the base of the mountain. It took a little while to get to the ticket office, you have to walk up several stairs and through a cobblestone market to get there, so we got nice and sweaty and uncomfortable. From there, you take a bus (ours had no underside luggage stowage) about halfway up to another stop. We had to awkwardly hold our luggage in the aisle of a full bus, while going up-hill and doing switch-backs. Everyone gets off about halfway-way up, at a station with several different buses. We asked for help and someone pointed us to the correct one. From the final bus stop up top, it was a short walk to the hotel. We figured going down would be much smoother, but after getting off the first bus, we accidentally got on the wrong one and started going back up. Overall, took us about 2.5 hours from the airport to the hotel, then just over three hours from hotel to the HSR station. Minor descriptions for the room were inaccurate. Ours was listed as on floor 3 or 4, it was actually basement level. The hotel is in the edge of the mountain, so it still had a scenic view. The window in our room was dirty (I expected more for what we were paying). The hand soap in the bathroom was in a re-used bottle and was watered down. Listed amenities said sauna and massage room, there are neither here (nor was there an offer of other local places to go when I asked). The breakfast food was amazing, including a hot, fresh bar with a chef making eggs and noodles. I wasn’t able to partake in the noodles one day because of the language barrier. Hotel staff was more hesitant than other places we’ve stayed in using translation tools and I felt like too much of an inconvenience in using them to ask for noodles. There is bottled water in the rooms, you can ask for more for free (they friended me via WeChat on Check-In and is largely how we communicated). There is free tea and snacks in the afternoon, the hotel was quiet so we were able to take up one of two seats that had an amazing view outside. The staff working the tea time was great and super courteous. You can hike to South Crag Palace and Nanyan Palace by foot, both are absolutely stunning. In summary, if we were to visit the area again, I would stay at a hotel at the bottom of the mountain (not in the scenic area) and use the day exploring/getting lost on the bus. While the view was great, it simply wasn’t worth the high price and the difficulty in getting there for non-locals. If I knew a hotel in the scenic area would reach out to me in advance to assist, then I would go for it. But unfortunately, with the way Trip.com works right now, hotels have to initiate that, guests cannot. I don’t recommend this hotel for non-native speakers.”

„My stay at Wanda Yuehua·Yinxi Hotel was overall quite satisfactory. 📍 Location: The hotel boasts a prime location right in the heart of town, surrounded by an abundance of dining options. Additionally, it's conveniently just a 5-minute stroll to the entrance of Wudang Mountain, making it perfect for explorers. 🏨 Room: While the room was a tad compact for my liking, it was clean and well-maintained. Unfortunately, during my stay, the air conditioning was malfunctioning, which made the room a bit uncomfortable at times. 🚽 Facilities: One highlight was the modern and impeccably clean toilet facilities. However, despite the hotel's non-smoking policy, there was a noticeable cigarette odor lingering in the corridors and some rooms. 🛎️ Service: Although the absence of a lift was a bit inconvenient, the staff didn't offer assistance with luggage. Despite appearing initially aloof, the concierge staff surprised me with their patience and helpfulness, providing valuable local insights. 👍 Additional Services: The hotel offers tour guide services at a reasonable price, which I found to be on par with external options. I engaged one and was pleased with the service provided. In conclusion, Wanda Yuehua·Yinxi Hotel offers a convenient location and decent amenities, albeit with some minor drawbacks. With a little improvement in certain areas, it has the potential to be an even more inviting accommodation choice.”

„I stayed in a couple of hotels in the Wudang mountain top area and this hotel might be the best one. The rooms are brand new, the reception is exceptionally friendly and helpful and the price is better than some way worse hotels offer. Don’t expect western breakfast, but the restaurant staff is friendly and the food is tasty. There is a cool coffee shop on the first floor. The only downside I saw is the hotel is right next to the bus stop and it get’s noisy, but on the other hand it’s convenient. It’s 5 min walk to the cable car for Golden Palace, but Purple Palace will require a long hike or bus drive to the other side of the mountain.”

„這次入住體驗非常不好！首先是預訂，我先生的手機打到前台諮詢還有沒有房，回覆讓自己看平台，平台顯示沒有房。我打開攜程顯示有房，六百七十多一晚，因為春節加上看圖片理解入住環境應該不錯，我們預訂了。這個訊息差及價格，給差評。 其次是入住，到達酒店附近，完全沒有停車場導視指引，打電話問了才找到入口，停車場是地面坑坑窪窪的土。 入住了房間非常簡陋，我們兩大一小入住，電話讓前台送多一套洗簌用品，多送兩瓶水，結果衹送一瓶水，一個牙刷。飲用水根本不足！關鍵是當天身體不適，喝的水都不夠，差評！ 洗澡的水龍頭，用水完全不可調，要不太燙要不就冷水！這個是最不能接受的，非常不適！ 晚上開了空調，非常非常乾燥，加上沒有足夠的飲用水，夜間醒了非常不舒服。 我們選定的房間是零壓床，床品還是比較舒適，但以上整體讓入住體驗非常差！”

„Excellent and beautiful hotel located strategically at the nanyan area right beside the bus boarding area. Excellent service and friendly staff. Gave us green bean cakes for tea. Highly recommend. Only gripe I have was the wooden bed which has a screeching sound whenever you turn on the bed or get off the bed. Otherwise everything was great!”

„Pros: Excellent location, hotel itself is well decorated. Very clean. The room is comfortable. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and nice to have some western style choices. Cons: On our last day morning,the big, heavy window shutter fell off the frame while I was nearby and my forehead got hurt slightly. The hotel manager offered to change rooms for us, but because it was our last day there we decided to stay in the same room. No more compensation was offered to us. There should be a mini fridge and microwave oven in the room, due to no lunch and dinner availability, except for private parties.”
