„Absolutely amazing experience!!! Excellence and convenient just 12 mins walk from the train station. The rooms is spacious and well designed. And the staff is very thoughtful and caring. „Very zen looking hotel very near the entrance to the Big Buddha Scenic Area. We were upgraded to a room at the first level with a huge courtyard. Though nice, we did not have the time to enjoy the extra space. Both the shower and toilet doors are of translucent glass and has no lock. 4 bottles of drinking water and 3in1 coffee are provided in the room. There's a small washing machine in the room but without full dryer function. Hotel compound is nice. Complimentary afternoon tea is actually self service biscuits, nuts and Chinese tea. There is also a free 3gb e-sim which we did not use. Free Hanfu experience is actually a few pieces of traditional clothings hung at the hotel reception where we are free to wear for self photo takings. We did not try as the costumes look like they were there for a long time and we were concerned about it's cleanliness. Breakfast is at another hotel a buggy ride away. We were supposed to be able to walk a short distance to the pier to board the ferry to see the Leshan Big Buddha but unfortunately, that pier was closed due to tide issues. We had to take the scenic bus (buggy) at RMB 15 per pax for a return trip to Wuyou ferry terminal to board the ferry. It was a long walk from the drop off point to the ferry terminal both ways. Would recommend this hotel for the room and hotel compound. However, if proximity to ferry terminal is a consideration, it pays to check that the pier near the hotel is in operation.”

„To mój drugi pobyt w tym hotelu. Myślę, że wszyscy podzielają te same zalety: wygodny transport, pobliskie atrakcje i restauracje, do których Didi ma łatwy dostęp. Pokój jest przestronny i wyjątkowo urządzony po kolacji... ale mam kilka sugestii: 1. Czy moglibyście dodać kosz na śmieci w sypialni? Podróżni nieuchronnie jedzą lub muszą wyrzucać śmieci w swoich pokojach, a my musimy iść do umywalki, co jest uciążliwe dla leniwych. 2. Myślę, że umywalka mogłaby mieć więcej ręczników papierowych. Zazwyczaj nie chcemy używać osobnego ręcznika do wycierania rąk, więc papier toaletowy jest wygodniejszy i higieniczniejszy. 3. Bardzo potrzebujemy sandałów pod prysznic. Poza tym mamy dwie pary jednorazowych bawełnianych kapci, zwłaszcza zimą, i nie chcemy zawracać głowy recepcjonistom. Po prysznicu marzłyby nam stopy, a nie mielibyśmy dodatkowych butów na zmianę. (Mam nadzieję, że zobaczę choć niewielką poprawę, gdy znów zatrzymam się w Państwa hotelu. Mam nadzieję, że Państwa firma będzie nadal prosperować.)”

„Super przyjazny personel i wspaniała lokalizacja! Minutki spacer od ulicy żywności i widok z mojego pokoju był oszałamiający! „the stay was so so good! firstly, before our arrival date, the hotel contacted us on both trip.com & wechat, so our transport to the hotel from emeishan station was smooth. check-in was fuss free as well, and the front office lady xiaoshi was kind, warm, and gave us tips for our trip up emei. we could borrow the hanfu and took pictures in the yard and around the hotel. the facilities were clean, nice, and overall really cosy. breakfast was really good too. and if you prefer to go up the mountain earlier, the hotel will also prepare some light takeaways for you, and thats super thoughtful i’ve read reviews that the location was not as good as those around baoguo; but since we were travelling as a family, this place was peaceful, slightly quieter and very near huangwan visitor centre! To me this was equally as good as hotels that are around baoguo. the trip up emei mountain was quick and fuss free as well, since I got the tickets and boarded the bus from huangwan (about a 5-7 mins walk away from the hotel) which is not much different from baoguo. will definitely stay here again if im visiting this area :))”

„This hotel was amazing. Value for money was exceptional. The room was very large and so well designed with space for everything. The cleanliness was perfect - so clean, the decor is very nice. The shower and bath were great and bed so comfortable. The breakfast was really good for this price range with plenty of variety. The staff were very professional and friendly and helpful and efficient. The decor is much more plush than one would expect for this price. The hotel is new so looks great. It is very conveniently located near one of the eat streets that is much better than the main eatery street. Initially we were trying to find hotels by the river etc but this location is better it is quick to get anywhere by taxi anyway and the riverside hotels and location is not nice with many run down hotels. Don’t stay anywhere else as this hotel is so comfortable and perfect in every way. We would definitely stay here again. It is also great to stay here and do day trips to Emei etc. we really loved this hotel and was so pleasantly surprised with the quality. The only area for improvement would be person at door to be more proactive in assisting with bags etc.”

KKwah JohnsonNie spodziewałem się, że mój wybór tego hotelu będzie doskonały podczas mojej pierwszej wizyty w Leshan. Lokalizacja była bardzo dogodna, blisko Wielkiego Buddy w Leshan, a tuż obok znajdowała się kasa biletowa i przystanek autobusu turystycznego. Hotel znajduje się 20 minut taksówką od stacji kolejowej „Leshan”. Kierowca taksówki pomógł mi zadzwonić do hotelu, aby odebrać nas z muzeum w Leshan. Personel hotelu był bardzo miły i przyjazny. Ponieważ następnego ranka o 7:00 musimy się przenieść na Góry Emei, hotel przygotował dla mnie i mojej żony dwa zestawy śniadaniowe (zdjęcie w załączniku) na wynos, więc możemy je zjeść w taksówce jadącej do Emei. Czystość również była dobra. Wystrój pokoju i atmosfera również były przyjemne.

LLanJiangWe initially chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station and its recent opening. The drive up the narrow mountain road, full of sharp turns, was a bit unsettling for our city Didi driver, so we were secretly relieved (as was our driver) when we finally arrived. At first glance, the hotel seemed quite simple, and I wasn’t entirely sure I had made the right choice. However, any lingering doubts were quickly washed away by the warm welcome from Derek, the hotel manager, and the staff. When we got to our room, it was pure joy! The minimalist design is visually soothing, and the balcony with its expansive mountain views made us feel like just hanging around and doing nothing was more than enough. If you're the kind of traveler who feels guilty about not doing anything, rest assured that the hotel is in a beautiful section of the mountain. There's a lovely old temple and a sacred spring pond nearby—Zhongfeng Temple and Shenshui Pavilion, I believe. You’ll also enjoy the energy of hikers rushing up and down the mountain. There are enough people to make it lively but not overwhelmingly crowded like Leidongping or Jinding, where the crowds can be exhausting. A special mention goes to Derek, who exceeded all our expectations. His kindness and professionalism reminded me of the kind of service you expect from a six-star hotel, where every need is anticipated. Derek went above and beyond, making our journey to Golden Summit and onward to Leshan much smoother and more enjoyable. Since we speak minimal Chinese, he kindly helped us communicate with the next hotel, explaining how to get there. He even offered us a free ride to the bus station when we struggled to find a Didi in the area. Derek also helped arrange our transfer to Leshan. We were incredibly impressed and grateful for his assistance. If I had to suggest one area for improvement, I’d say the dinner options could use some enhancement to match the overall excellence of the stay. Logistically, getting to these hotels involves taking a bus from Baoguosi or Wuxiangang Station to Leidongping, then a cable car to the upper platform, followed by a roughly one-hour hike with steep steps to Jinding. It's manageable with a backpack, but not ideal with large luggage. That’s why we chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its close proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station, leaving our luggage there and heading up the mountain with just our backpacks.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the professional and welcoming staff, setting the tone for a perfect visit. Due to some logistics, the hotel generously offered us a free room upgrade. The room itself was exceptionally good—spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean. The entire property is stunning, featuring beautiful ancient Chinese architecture that provides a charming, rustic feel while still offering all the comforts you could need. The service was a highlight of our trip. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us. We also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, especially the delicious noodles which were a perfect start to our day. To top off the amazing service, the hotel arranged for someone to see us back to the Emeishan railway station and even kindly paid for our fare. This level of care and generosity is rare to find. We will definitely be coming back for another visit and highly recommend this gem to anyone traveling to the area!

They were very nice and friendly, attentive to our needs and requests, and chatted with us in an open and welcoming manner whenever we inquired about aspects of the local environment, Mt Emei, etc. We had dinner at the hotel during our stay and ordered the chef's recommendations. The food was AMAZING and so fresh. The fish and chicken dishes that we had came from live fish and chicken that they reared within the hotel compound. If they were a local restaurant back in my country, I would frequent them without a doubt, and would love to bring my friends to try their cuisine. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, Xiao Zhou even brought us to take a look at the hotel's chicken coop and fish pond. When we had to leave for our hike to Mt Emei's summit, Xiao Zhou and his colleague kindly drove us to the nearest bus station so that it would be easier for us to access Mt Emei's public transportation, a gesture which we appreciated a lot! All in all, their attentiveness to us, good manners, and warm and friendly dispositions all contributed to a memorable stay. Of course, the rooms themselves were spotless and comfortable. Would love to come back here in the future!!

And, they replenished everything each day when they made up the room. There was also a small washing machine in the room that could handle a decent amount of clothing. The hotel breakfast restaurant was huge, and there was a wide variety of tasty breakfast items. The hotel restaurant makes excellent food for breakfast. I could tell it was a high-quality kitchen using fresh ingredients. The Chinese restaurant at the hotel was also a high-quality restaurant. We had a large family dinner in a private dining room. All the dishes were prepared expertly. They have very good chefs at this hotel. There were 3 floors that made up a tea house lounge. This hotel had everything in one place. Overall, it is an excellent place to stay if one wants to visit Leshan and explore the surrounding areas.

The location is excellent — a food street is just a 5-minute walk away, and the shuttle bus station is also nearby. I was looking forward to trying the breakfast, but I woke up too early, so I can’t give any comments about the meals.

It's not a very central location to explore the rest of Leshan, but there's a cool area across the street with lots of restaurants and some street-side bars in the evening. FFre3dOmThe location is definitely the main selling point, just about 200 meters from Golden Summit. For anyone planning to catch the sunrise or sunset, this hotel is perfectly located. The room is quite small but clean and comfortable, just nice for two people traveling light. However, do note that the hike (with staircases) to the hotel is about 1.5 km, so it’s best not to bring heavy luggage, as it can be quite challenging to carry it up. The staff are friendly and attentive. They even reminded us not to shower upon arrival because of the high altitude, such thoughtful advice! Breakfast is simple but sufficient, while the dinner (at your own expense) was surprisingly good. The hotel also offers free tea, which was a lovely touch. The lobby has a calm and soothing atmosphere, and I really like its minimalist design. Just a small reminder: there’s no lift in the hotel. Overall, I would still highly recommend this hotel. Sitting uphill with a cup of noodles and hot tea while enjoying the mountain view. that’s life!

The breakfast spread was delicious and has quite a bit of variety - balanced selection of continental and local. We went during off peak, so the hotel was quite quiet. The location was good, near to eateries and convenience stores, all within walking distance. It is also walking distance to the Bus Station that goes up and around the mountain area. Very convenient and strategic location. It would have been a perfect getaway if the hot spring was indoors since it is too cold to dip in the pool in the middle of winter. Anyhow, I especially would like to compliment Ms Xiao Luo for her hospitality since she extended our check out time to 3pm to accommodate our train departure time. We really appreciate the consideration. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. I would strongly recommend it to everyone who wishes to visit Emeishan to stay at Holiday Inn Express Emei Branch.
