This is a very comfortable hotel in a beautiful valley in the mountains, very peaceful and relaxing. We stayed in winter but the rooms had excellent heating and the private outdoor spa was lovely and hot. The food was delicious, the beds were soft and the family that run the hotel were super helpful, even giving us a ride to and from the panda base. Highly recommend this guesthouse!

We stayed only 1 night but this might be the best hotel on our trip. They provided free upgrade to a bigger room although it was a last minute booking. Room was comfortable and clean. There’s a good spread for breakfast as well. Having a supermarket right beside it is a plus point as well!

The description in the hotel description doesn't do the place justice. The villa we booked is actually part of a 3 storey building. From the pictures, it appears our booking has only 1 bathtub. In reality, there is a bath tub in a huge wash room, a living area, a tea drinking area in EACH of the 3 rooms in our villa. And there is a further living area, a kitchen, a washing machine and even an outdoor sauna outside the 3 rooms for communal gathering. Tea Master Lee was very patient in bringing us to pick tea leaves each of the 2 days we were there. He taught us how to process yellow tea one day (which requires fermentation) and green tea on the second day. We could bring back the green tea on the spot, but as the yellow tea requires time, he would mail it to us. Tea Master Lee just won a competition when we went and we totally appreciated his expertise as well as his sharing of knowledge. He was very approachable and well versed in his art. One note, we were really in the countryside and transport is not readily available such that we had to walk back one night in the dark to the hotel with cars zooming by us as we had a late dinner in the nearby town. And again, as we were in the countryside, places close early and we almost couldn't find a place for dinner as we ended our day late after hiking Mount Mengding. Distances are pretty great between places and didi is not widely used. The kitchen staff and our housekeeping staff were totally warm and friendly. It might be good to provide washing detergent since washing machines are provided.

This hotel is called OZZ - NICE 3. That’s what’s written on the outside, not what it is called on trip.com! It’s a unique location on a bridge and it is near everything that Ya’an has to offer and the staff are really nice, but there are a couple of rough edges. In December we found the rooms quite cold and it’s not possible to run the heating when you are out. The bathtub is a kind of outside inside setup but in winter this doesn’t really work and the bathroom is freezing even with the heating on. Breakfast is delivered to the room and we found this very convenient.

The Hotel had a Premium location, just 5 minutes by walk away from the Entrance to the Gorge and Bus shuttle to the Panda base. The Service of the owner was outstanding and beyond. They were really caring. Fron carrying up our luggage to the room to gudiing us to the Entrance. Also the food was really good! Really glad we have chosen this stay, couldnt recommend it enough and would stay here again. The only thing is, even with floor heating it was not getting warmer than 22 degrees weithin the room. But you have mattress heating which makes it very comfortable :) We only spent one night but would recommend staying at least 2 because there is plenty to do and see around. Not only the panda base!!!

The resort tries to be a high end value hotel. Have afternoon tea and dessert at night plus plus...but I think it looks run down outside. Main drawback no forest...🤣. We walked around the nearby vegetable farms which is rather pleasant. But the staff very friendly. But I think the price not quite worth it for China hotels....

Receptionist Luo Hongmei was perfect and real professional with good english also. Helped me with many issues

The room is beautiful. The pictures don't lie and one of the most beautiful bathrooms we had during our trip in China. The room watches the hills and the tea garden. Although it was Dragon Boat Festival, the hotel was very quiet. The receptionist was amazingly helpfull. The restaurant was closed (or there is none, I'm not sure) and we cycled all the way up the mountain to get to the hotel so we didn't want to leave the hotel anymore after a long day cycling. The receptionist suggested she could get us food by taxi in the city and helped us order at her favourite restaurant. The food was amazing and we were very thankful we could enjoy our nice food in the hotel. Also the breakfast was really nice. It is a buffet.

早餐簡直是驚喜！中西式都有，包子饅頭熱乎乎的，豆漿油條現做的，還有漢源特色的櫻桃糕，甜而不膩，連我這種平時不愛吃早餐的人都忍不住多拿了幾樣。 停車也特別方便，對於我們自駕來的遊客來説，完全不用愁停車的問題。旁邊就是漢源湖濕地公園，吃完晚飯可以去散步，吹吹湖風，看看夕陽，一天的疲憊都煙消雲散了。 總的來説，這次入住體驗超出預期！不管是位置、環境還是服務，都挑不出毛病，下次來漢源，肯定還選金鑫大酒店～

Very beautiful scene in the morning. Staffs are very helpful. Though you should note that if you arrive at the pick up point later than 16.00, they charge you 400 yuan for transportation to the hotel up in the scenic area.
