The JR station has no staff and does not have any escalator or elevator so beware that you need to carry luggage up and down the stairs. It's out of GO service area but there was taxi waiting in front of the station.”

„I am so glad I chose Komatsu-kan during my stay in Matsushima. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. When I told him I am a vegetarian, he kindly informed the kitchen to exclude animal flesh and seafood from my meal. (Usually, hotels ignored my food request, or they just gave me tofu and pickles for my meal.) The next morning, I was so surprised to see my breakfast. I loved the fresh salad, steamed vegetables, over-easy eggs, chawan-mushi, and the pickles even tasted better than before. Then the room surprised me with the pine tree and the beautiful sea view. The next morning I woke up at 4:45 to see the sunrise. Just from my room, I could see the sun slowly rising from the other side of the sea. Stunning! I really enjoyed the little Me time here. Actually, this hotel is well-maintained, and that helps raise the value of it. I also love the fresh little flowers right next to the washing basin. And the people working here are quite ya-sa-shi. They are kind and gentle. Generally speaking, this is a nice place worth staying and relaxing in.”

„After checking in at 15:00, the rice was the earliest time in the three-part system until 17:00, so I took a walk in the building and then drank alcohol in the lounge near the front desk. The hot spring was built next to the elevator on the first floor, and this time the women's bath was built in front of the aisle, with a large communal bath, a sauna, and an open-air bath (upper and lower structures). The room was a low single type bed room in the tatami room and the view was great because it was on the 4th floor. However, it was a pity that there was dust in some parts that were not cleaned a little. Is there only karaoke and table tennis that seem to be interesting in the hall? Both of them are reserved for time because the reception paper is nearby, so it was a flow of reservations considering the schedule.”
