Upstairs you will find two light filled bedrooms and a full bath between them. The bedroom overlooking the water has a king sized bed, and the one overlooking the street has a queen. High end towels and linens, comfortable beds, black out curtains - we want you to love your stay here. Large back deck with a gas grill, private dock that you can moor your boat!Well equipped kitchen, washer/dryer. This is a cute home, built in 1910. It's survived most of the hurricanes and is packed with history. It's steps from downtown Swansboro, and you can walk to almost everything. The home has been in my family more than 50 years, and it's got a great feel. BEACH ACCESS: The closest beach with "waves" is Emerald Isle. Its about a 20 minute drive. You can take a private charter to "bear island" aka Hammocks Beach State Park on the Lady Swan for a minimal fee. There is also the NC State Ferry that you can take to Hammocks Beach State Park, google for all the info. BOAT RAMP: The boat ramp (NC Wildlife ramp) is about a mile from the house, very convenient for launching and retrieving the boat or jet ski!BOATERS: Dock info. The dock is private. It has about 2 feet of water at low tide and 6 feet at high tide. It's easy to access from the ICW. You need to make certain the tower/console will fit under the White Oak River Bridge. It has about 6 feet of clearance from waterline to bridge at high tide. Most boats under 26' don't have any problems.
