Hotel Steensel is a simple and excellent family hotel in De Kempen (Brabant). The hotel is easy to reach, quietly located, and has a lovely garden at the back where you can sit en enjoy the quiet of the place. The rooms are fine, breakfast and dinner leave nothing to be desired, and staff are extremely obliging, friendly, even cordial. Hotel Steensel is one of the few hotels I have ever stayed in that has no pretence of trying to make money, but offers everything, absolutely everything, that you expect as a guest. There is nothing to fault at this fine place. Prices are very modest, and you get real value for money. The owners and staff are so friendly that you quickly feel at home. Hotel Steensel is highly recommended for anyone wanting to visit De Kempen for a few days and to taste the heartfelt friendliness and hospitality of the Kempen people. Simple and comfortable accommodation plus friendly treatment make this hotel an excellent place for everyone! Frits Smulders Middelburg

Prima locatie, gezellig hotel en heel netjes. Je kan ook geatis parkeren voor de deur of naast het hotel. Ruime en schone kamer met goede bedden en zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij personeel. Ontbijt eenvoudig maar prima. Ik kom zeker nog eens terug.

Ik lig nu al twee uur wakker door tikken van de verwarming die al lang uit staat. De kamer was koud. De verwarming hielp niet verl en tikte hard dus zette m uit maar het blijft doorgaan! De telefoon om de receptie te bellen is kapot en ik belde zelf maar ze kunnen niets doen. Onvriendelijk werd er afgebroken

Het kan dus nog steeds, oer brabantse gezelligheid in een super tof hotel, inrichting enigzins gedateerd maar alles is schoon en werkt, mooie kamers met heerlijke bedden, schone douche en grote tv. in het half pension aanbod zit ontbijt en een 3 gangen keuzemenu, het diner is super ( en flinke porties ) de bediening is vakkundig, gemotiveerd en brabants gezellig, de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is erg goed, een aanrader voor wie lekker een paar dagen wil wandelen of fietsen in de omgeving, wij komen hier zeker een keer terug ( tip, vraag of je de bruidsuite mag zien, erg apart )
