Cradle Boutique Hotel

The experience was absolutely amazing , staff was friendly and fun and the game drive was our highlight. The location and views were incredible and those long islands were top tier , can’t wait to go back.

Absolutely captivating distinct lil positioned resort. Cozy, lavish and very romantic. The extra special part was being with my hubby💙! That was super special. Very charming n picturesque views. Loved the service. Food was fantastic. Restaurant had an absolute ideal view. X

We had a great night’s stay at the Cradle Boutique Hotel. The service was EXCELLENT. Seriously, their employees are amazing and this is the best customer service we have received from any hotel in a long time. The Sky rooms are new and have beautiful views but if you’re making a booking, keep in mind that the hotel tubs in these rooms are wood fired. Because the temperature cannot be changed, this means they take a long time to heat and when they do, you have about an hour to use them before they become way too hot to get into. I have removed one point from my rating because service in the restaurant was really slow when we went for dinner.

Ideal for quiet time in nature, away from the hustle and bustle. A really great place with the best service. The hotel has great walking trails and beautiful views. Definitely recommend this and I look forward to staying here again.

After dealing with a little bit of frustration, Lamees got involved and I had a wonderful experience. She made sure that we had everything we needed, from vegan meals to tours. The hotel is situated at a prime location, right on the grounds where excavations are currently taking place. They offer some tours that are worth going, but beware, they do need to be booked 24 hours in advance. Our tour guide, Alistair, a retired geologist, was so knowledgeable. I cannot recommend it enough to go on the 4 hour tour that takes you to the discovery site of Sediba. You cannot compare it to the very touristy tour at Malapa, the one offered at this hotel is way superior. The rooms are beautiful and luxurious. The best ones are the sky rooms, but the ones in front also have a great view. One night, when we were leaving the room to go to the restaurant, we saw this big antelope a few meters away from us. Very exciting! The food at the restaurant was really good. Highly recommend the butternut risotto, they will veganize it for you upon request. We did have an issue with vegan foods for breakfast, but after Lamees got involved we got what we needed. Thank you Lamees and the rest of the hotel staff, you all made our experience memorable.

Excellent venue with fantastic views, we went to the restaurant only, would have loved to stay. Staff super friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic and excellent value for money. We will definitely go there again, and hopefully stay there for a few nights as well. Overall excellent.

This hotel could be perfect if they just worked on a few items. Sorting out the water pump, or buying a new one, as not having water in the morning for an hour isn’t cool. Secondly, improve the wifi, and lastly, the restaurant service which is VERY slow. Stunning setting, and the golf cart drives are simply the best. The units / rooms are awesome. Come on people, invest a bit to make this place perfect.

Starting from our entrance we felt quite welcomed. On arrival to the hotel, attention to guests needs was amazing. We totally enjoyed our stay even felt as though it was short. The highlight was the spa treatment..

A trip that should have been a special evening turned out a disappointment due to no effort or attention to detail from staff members. And even after mentioning it in detail on check out, I only received an “I’m sorry” Just not good enough for an establishment like this.
