This property is in a beautiful location on the Columbia River Gorge. Staff in every area were unfailingly friendly and helpful. The trails around the resort were lovely and provided a nice workout without being grueling.

The hotel is in a beautiful place, and the views are great. We booked for two nights. We stayed the first the heating system in the room was super loud and kept turning on every hour, it woke us up and my husband said the bed was the most uncomfortable. The reason for our stay was to take my son to a soccer game in Portland. As a result, we did not use any of the hotel's facilities, but they sting you for a $35 a nigh resort fee.
We decided to cut our loses and decided it was not worth staying the second night even though we had paid for it so left and drove home for a good night's sleep.
Ropes course looked great and I think going in the summer would be better. Tree houses just look like cabins on stilts, not as fun as you would think

Skamania Lodge is great place for spending time with family, couples or solo. There are several indoor hot tubs and outside hot tub, large pool (good for kids and adults), sauna for man and woman.
My wife and me had a wedding anniversary at the moment of visiting this place, and we got a complementary gift and card with signs off all staff of this hotel, that was so nice.

We always love Skamania - the beautiful views, multiple locations to sit and read or visit, roaring fireplace, fabulous art, friendly and helpful staff.

Nice property and the restaurant has good food. The shower in our room was covered in the previous occupants hair, mattresses are very firm and pillows lumpy.

We arrived and checked in immediately. Bernadette was prompt, cordial with a smile throughout the process. Very pleasant. Our room was clean with a magnificent view of the Columbia River Gorge. We stayed two nites and our dining experience both nights were excellent. We've stayed at this Lodge on several occasions and always look forward to our next visit.

We stayed at Skamania for the night and we’re disappointed to find our room dirty, the tv had stains all over it, the sink and bathtub were both also dirty and we were looking forward to enjoying some time in the hot tubs only to find them both low on water, cold and rusty. It’s sad to see the place getting ran down.
