I will be honest I was a little sceptical about this hotel, mostly due to past experiences telling me that if it seems too good to be true then it usually is. But wow I have never been so happy to be wrong.
The check in was easy in the restaurant and Erin was so welcoming and friendly. The hotel is a different building so you’re not in the same building as the restaurant.
We found our room easily and we were thrilled with it. Clean and tidy, spacious and exactly what we needed. Very quiet, or at least it was when we stayed, doors can be a little noisy if guests let them bang but not the hotels fault obviously. Didn’t hear a thing from upstairs either.
Room service is available which we realised after the first night only came in if you put the wee sign on the door.
We ended up eating in the restaurant all 3 nights we were there and the food was fantastic. All the staff were incredibly friendly and really lovely to deal with.
Would definitely stay here again and we would highly recommend.

Didn't arrive until late, finding entrance to pub which was quite away from the hotel part could do with better signposting/lighting.
Room temperature was cold when arrived and did not warm up, could not go above 21 on the controlds actuals room temperature was no where near this.

Place was clean, slightly odd that the hotel reception was in the restaurant over the road. But the manager Aidan was a credit to the company. Friendly & approachable

Food in the red squirrel was amazing best nachos ever!!!!! Staff were really friendly and the service was really good

Lovely clean rooms and a great place to eat. Food was amazing and reasonable. Staff very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Great with people with additional support needs and allergies. Would definitely stay again

We had a very comfortable stay here, clean, fresh room. We had to look for reception as it was in the red squirrel next to the accommodation block but after getting booked in all was well.

Its okay as a budget business stay, TV channels were limited. The food was okay pub food at the pub over the road but no cask beer

Great location for Ardrossan ferry terminal. Supermarket across the road and plenty of fast-food options nearby. Pub does good food too.
