Where do I start , I would like to say to chevonne she is simply the best . I got married there on the 17th of February, chevonne went above and beyond to help me with everything I could not have managed such a perfect day without her help her guidance her professional manner . I can honestly say she was the best wedding coordinator any bride to be would want . She made it the best day ever . Thank you chevonne. Brenda xx

Stayed at this hotel for the first time on Friday 5th April, for one night. We arrived a few hours after check in as did some sight seeing. Customer service was poor. The lady on reception may need some customer service training. On arriving at the reception desk I was the first person to say hello. She answered back, and asked if we had a reservation. She looked very bored and not the usual greeting of someone on reception. After my boyfriend signed the form, as he had booked the room. She told us it was upstairs on first floor & told us where the lift was. No other communications. I work with the public everyday & I would have greeted a guest with a warm welcome. Felt like she had no interest in being friendly to customers. Room was clean, no bulb in one lamp, have to take your own shampoo and shower gel. We did however sleep well.

Good hotel staff were lovely. Food is great. The only couple of things like the beds could be a bit bigger than a double. A shower would be better than a bath. That is maybe just our preference. But would return if there is a room with a bigger bed and a walk in shower

Restaurant and bar good. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Couldn't fault them. Rooms bit tired but clean. Other than bar and restaurant the hotel could do with a bit of a refurb (particularly the lift). But great location and good value for money.

I was physically attacked by a group of non-residents in the hotel reception. Manager Chevonne Hutton was made aware of the group causing trouble throughout the evening and that they were non-residents. Non-residents have access to all areas of the hotel without any security in place. Chevonne completely washed her hands of the whole thing saying the attack was nothing to do with the hotel, it should have been up to the tribute act on that night to provide security. CCTV not working, manager on duty on the Sunday said 'It hasn't worked for ages and not worth getting fixed' but when queried with Chevonne, she said they were simply waiting on a part. After that one response, hotel are completely ignoring email correspondence. Shocking way to treat your guests!!

We didn’t stay here as the hotel was full due to a Fleetwood Mac tribute event. However we ate lunch and dinner here for 3 days and were very impressed with the food and the service. Particular thanks to Dee who arranged seating for our large family for dinner in the breakfast area on the evening of the event. She really went above and beyond to accommodate us. Also to Ryan at the bar who was relentlessly pleasant even when it was crazy busy. The lovely staff here really lift this hotel to another level. Thank you all.

The desk staff were friendly and helpful as was the waitress at breakfast. Room clean and nice. The instructions to get to car park really helpful, but the car park and entrance from car park needs attention. There was old fridges piles of rubbish didn’t give best first impression.
