Motel 6 Stockton, CA - East

This place was really bad, wife and I decided to go to it over an adjoining motel because it was a motel 6, thinking we would get a nice professional experience, was overpriced $110 for a room where the door handle works backwards, had dirty towels (stained with makeup & ??? Mystery fluids) there were dirt stains on the walls, TV did not work and NO remote given.. hair in the shower, it was really bad, and I am not a big complainer, i usually expect very little form motels, but this I felt was egregious because its supposed to be a motel 6, not a random cheapo operation. In the morning I asked for new towels, which they brought , then I decided to ask for a refund or discount. Owner/Manager never came out to anywhere to talk, instead a big guy with tattoos, whose wife is one of the cleaners came and reminded us that we should have complained right when we were given the room. To me it seemed an attempt to intimidate so I just let them know I would be reporting them to Motel 6 corporate....and Posting a warning on trip advisor...

The motel appears to be new. Surprisingly unlike most hotel 6s the bed was very comfortable. The room was clean and nice. Almost a full size fridge with freeze in separate door. We felt safe here and the front desk was very nice. They have their own store area with anything you forgot plus snacks and beverages. We would stay here again.
