Premier Inn Stratford-Upon-Avon Central

DO NOT LET THEM PUT YOU IN ROOMS 1 - 15 Location good. Clean-ish see photos. Breakfast ok. Room - awful and is now called "the room of doom" As you will see from the photos the window was very over grown even in November. It was also below ground so you couldn't open the window at all. It was very claustrophobic and also we felt unsafe if there was a fire you would not be able to get out!!! As with most of this type of hotel it was very hot and stuffy. Obviously thete wad no way to ooen the window to elevate this. Such a shame as the location was really good.

Very cheap parking nearby - £8 for 48 hours - and secure as several cameras across the car park. The hotel itself is being renovated and we got a standard new style which was really good. There are stairs within floors so do ask for the best way as there are routes to both ends of the building. Very quiet hotel. Well-recommended.

We arrived and we came early so we stayed in town centre before checking in. You can see hotel from town centre so close to food places and stuff to do

Wonderful visit, you can always rely on Premier Inns and this was no exception. The staff were all so attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. Camelia ( not sure of spelling!) was amazing and so friendly. She made us feel very welcome and was a credit to the hotel. Thank you!

I left an item of clothing in the hotel, returned a couple of hours later when i had realised and was told the cleaning staff found nothing in the room. that is false. i know with absolute certainty i left the item in the room. so essentially, a member of the cleaning staff obviously took it

4 flights of stairs to get up to reception carrying all your bags. Big sign saying 'Lift to Reception' but then realised we had accidentally entered the disabled lift before reading the sign to say it couldn't carry 2 people with bags, but then couldnt get out of it. The check in lady was rude when I joked about getting stuck in the lift. The place is like a maze and the corridors have bits of paper stuck to the walls to show you which way to get out. The room was obviously once a nice big room which has been divided into 2 so now a weird L shape. The layout is so bad you have squeeze your body between the bed and a shelf beneath the TV, so I was glad I'm not fatter! The window is obviously in the other half of the room because all we had was a skylight, and I had to climb on the chair to open it and close the blind! Breakfast was just as bad. Only the second time in my life that the bacon (my favourite part if breakfast and the whole reason I booked it) was so disgusting that I couldn't eat it, and my daughter's vegetarian sausage was undercooked and nasty. To top off our lovely stay, we had to carry all our bags for 10 minutes through the morning rush hour traffic to get to our car as there's no parking on site, so choosing a city centre room so we were close to the museums was a complete waste of time.

Booked in to attend a conference in the town and this Hotel worked out a lot less expensive than the Conference Hotel. The staff are a credit from booking in to checking out no issues and very friendly. Evening meal ...what do you expect for a tenner it was value for money my room was clean fresh but alas the corridors needed a vacuum and of course there is building work going on but I knew this in advance (No Lift). Breakfast was great and cooked to order as I ate before the buffet was ready. Never had a bad stay with this Chain.

I can not fault the staff .the rooms where quality the bed extremely comfortable the breakfast was excellent. And still managed a good night's sleep considering the hotel was under going refurbishment.very considering when the work started and ended on the day avoiding not to disturb the guests. We'll done

Mostly OK and while refurbishment is ongoing you have to expect drilling and staircase painting to start at 8am and go on to 5pm. But I did not like some aspects of the new room which had only a skylight as window and where the only place with enough light to read was in bed. There was a nice little round table with 2 chairs directly under the skylight, in the darkest part of the room outside daylight hours. In other respects the stay was fine, nice bed, good bathroom, good breakfast.
