We stayed on a Travelzoo deal for 2 nights. Room was lovely and comfortable. What made the trip was the amazing staff who couldn’t do enough for you. We ate both nights in the restaurant and the food was superb. Thank you for a great couple of days.

We were very pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Quaint yet upgraded, the rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The included made to order breakfast was delicious. We managed to forget on of our bags and they were very accommodating in getting it packed up for a FedEx pickup. The staff were very friendly and the beer was cheap. Nuff said!

Wonderful night staying here, very comfortable bed and great en suite. Breakfast delicious and filling. Had dinner there too, lovely. Stuffed with 2 great meals our relations we had come to visit treated us to lunch at Ragged Cot after we’d said how lovely it was (they are local but hadn’t been since a bad experience 20 years ago!). We all enjoyed it so much but think I must have put on 1/2 stone in 2 days! We will return soon.

This accommodation was perfect under every aspect. Spacious and comfortable room, big and clean bathroom, very nice staff and lovely breakfast. The deal quality/price has been very high.
Our room was close to a road and we could hear some car passing in the morning, but nothing that ruined our sleep

Great location, beautiful room and great food. Cant wait to visit in the summer as the garden and outdoor dining space is really nice, will definitely be going back as this place is great value for money.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Good spacious dining room with large log fire. Menu was either pub grub or a more upmarket choice too.
Only issue I would mention if that the shelving in the shower room wasn't adequate for toiletries and your room isn't made up unless you hang a sign on your door handle but you are warned of that
We would stay again. Good value for money

Great place to stay lovely restaurant lovely cosy room great bathroom with amazing shower lovely and warm . Just one small problem the large fridge outside makes a noise all night not good if your a light sleeper and your room is above the restaurant. But lovely friendly staff would definitely return.
