Hotel und Zimmer einfach gut wir waren schon 3 mal hier Gerne wieder. Die Zimmet sind schön und Preis Leistung stimmt. Frau Geng und das Team sind immer sehr nett. Wir fühlen uns sehr wohl. Man ist etwas abseits abrr es ist sehr ruhig. Das Hotel ist auch noch nicht alt

Freundlichkeit wird hier gelebt. Das Ehepaar Geng und seine Crew sind tolle Gastgeber und man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Schöne helle Zimmer teils mit Balkon und allem was es braucht. Das Restaurant ist top von der Karte über Service bis zur Qualität der Speisen.

Wir verbrachten im Juli 2022 zehn tolle Tage im "Gengs Linde". In einem Nachbardorf von Stühlingen gelegen, findet man hier in Mauchen ein modernes Familienhotel mit reicher Geschichte. Das Haupthaus wurde 2015 vollkommen neu saniert und erweitert, das Gäste (Appartement)-Haus stammt von 2005. Wir hatten ein Appartement im Erdgeschoss mit Terrasse, bestehend aus zwei Räumen mit Küchenzeile. Sehr schön und wertig eingerichtet, u.a. Außenjalousien, Sitzmöbel draußen und großer Kühlschrank zur freien Nutzung. Parkplätze in ausreichender Anzahl auf dem Grundstück. Das Frühstück war umfangreich und lecker: sämtliche Eier frisch nach Wunsch, selbstgebackenes Brot (mhh!), jeden Tag Lachs, selbstgekochte Konfitüren und ein wirklich originales Schweizer Bircher-Müsli incl. untergehobener Schlagsahne! Einzig im Wurstaufschnitt hätte mal ein wenig Abwechslung sein dürfen. Wir haben öfters am Abend auf der Terrasse gegessen (reservieren!) und die toll angerichteten Speisen des Chefs genossen. Nichts billig, aber jeden Cent wert und immer große Portionen. Das Fleisch aus naher Landwirtschaft in wirklicher Qualität. Auch das Auge aß stets mit. Kurzum: wir können dieses Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen, auch wenn man das Auto wirklich braucht (ein Freibad ist "nebenan"). Sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis.

Das beste Frühstück das ich je hatte. Der absolute Wahnsinn. Selbstgemachte Marmeladen, selbst gebackenens Brot. Ei nach Wunsch und noch mehr. Die Zimmer sind neu, groß und mit Balkon. Das Abendessen legendär lecker. Das ganze Team war so freundlich und zuvorkommend das man sich einfach nur wohl gefühlt hat.
