No clear instructions upon check in.. we followed the maps to go the hotel but when we arrived at the entrance apparently its not possible to enter because we are on the wrong side of the mountain. So we have to drive again for 2,5 hours all the way through the high way to probolingo to get to the other entrance.. by the time we get there it was already dark..
We pay the ticket twice because it's in the national park. And foreigner must pay 5 times the price than local and they dont care if he already have a kitas, a wife and an indonesian driving lisence. If you're white you pay more. 🤣
We were tired after all the driving just wanted to check in and eat some food.
The receptionist suddenly stopped taking care of us so she could talk on the phone to another guest leaving us standing there wondering what we did wrong after asking about tours and rentals, so we had to walk away without our answers. Really awful customer service.
And then, we have some food delivered to the hotel room..Everybody know bromo is cold at night.. for a hotel like this and not to mention its quite expensive you'd think they will have a food warmer when they deliver the food, no. They dont. They delivered the food and (hot) drinks out in the open and by the time it arrives, it's all ICE COLD. and when we say something about it the say "yeah well, the weather is cold". And there are ZERO effort from the hotel to make a service recovery to the guest..
Oh and btw, breakfast is terrible.
We give 2 stars for the fact that the room is nice and the sunrise was beautiful. btw its not facing bromo.
