We thoroughly enjoyed our room and thought the staff and location were great. We didn’t care for the extra fees or the fact that we wanted the bar to open later than 9 PM. The shower was also very slow to drain. Otherwise, great stay. Would recommend this stay for people going to North Miami.

Great room with spacious bathroom. Walking distance to the beach and to bal harbour mall. There is also a Publix supermarket nearby. Friendly staff.

I would not stay here again for several reasons: the sofa bed was very uncomfortable, the sofa was also uncomfortable to sit on, they were understaffed with housekeeping & front desk, the loud construction made the lobby area miserable, and there were many fees added on to the nightly rate ($50 per day pet fee, $38 per day parking fee, $30 per day resort fee). The shower was only partially enclosed so water sprayed out to the floor and on the bathroom wall. There was already water damage on the wall near the shower. And when I requested extra towels on 2 separate days, it took several hours to get the towels.
On the bright side, the location was excellent with a 2 minute walk to a beautiful beach, 2 minute walk to the community center which included water slides & lap swimming, and 5 minute walk to Publix market.

5 rooms in 3 nights. The first had water coming from underneath. All wet and I almost slipped. They changed the room for a new one and one window was broken. The third room, the air conditioning stopped working. They moved us to a fourth room. The air conditioning was broken also. Finally and for the mas night and after 4 rooms, everything was ok, but no chance to have a late check out

Very welcoming, clean and in a convenient location!!! Parking was a breeze and we felt very safe walking around at night!!! The whole town of Surfside was spotless!!!

Staff did not appear welcoming. It took a while for them to warm up.
Nearly every request for accommodation was met with some pushback.
BonVoy status was not recognized as I booked thru *******
Would not honor request for chair in my room, even though I have a handicap
Would not even lend an umbrella on rainy afternoon.
Language barrier with kitchen staff as a result, not friendly.
Surrounded by noisy construction
Swimming Pool was closed for repairs
Pros:
Two complimentary drinks nightly, breakfast on the house.
Easy access to public busses and free shuttle
2 blocks away from convenient stores, pharmacy & many eateries. Another 4-block walk to small upscale mall.
3 minute walk to beach.
Rooms were freshen daily.
