Overnight stay, very clean and warm. When booked did not realise we might share area with others. Luckily when we arrived we were the only ones and had whole area to ourselves. When booked it said we could opt for breakfast. When asked got told they do not provide breakfast. If looking for overnight when touring Iceland and happy to share living accommodation with others this is ideal. We did have our own room and on suite.

The facilities were fine, the view beautiful, but staff wasn't particularly friendly or helpful. There were no restaurants close by and we had not brought food to cook so spent our anniversary eating cheese and crackers. Luckily we had wine!

It was about 20km from Blonduos by the lake but the road was fine. Really nice place with kitchen facilities. Spacious room.

Out of town, but the restaraunt is great for a meal & the breakfast quite satisfying. You can walk around the cemetery & there is a little cute church there as well.

This place was a perfect place to stay "off the beaten path" along our road trip. Beautiful views of the water! The breakfast was good and convenient, as it is about a 15-20 min drive to any restaurants/markets. Nearest town (Blonduos) has a great restaurant in town (Teni's) that serves Ethiopian food!

It was a very neat room with a large viewing window, a large shared bathroom but a small kitchen.
Nice and neat house.

I had a fantastic time at Svinavatn. The location was easy to get to and the room was very clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The bathroom and common areas were all clean, plus the view was amazing.

Nice place but very basic. She checked us in early which was really appreciated as we were in a snowstorm. The place has all the necessities but no breakfast or dinner you need to drive to Blondus for those. That’s about 25 minutes drive.

This property is worth the money for what you get. Room was cozy and clean and the water pressure in the bathroom was great. The location was perfect for where we needed to get and the view was stunning.
