Having stayed here 10 years ago, I can honestly say I was disappointed. The Lodge belongs to the same owner as the adjacent Rossmund Golf Club which has been up for sale by auction a few times during the past year. The lawn around the pool was uncut and the pool itself did not look clean enough to consider a swim in the scorching heat. Breakfast in the confined dining room was sub-standard and the staff looked disinterested.
Over all the place was tired , which is a pity, given its lovely location virtually on the golf course.WE were referred to the golf club for an evening meal , only to be told on our arrival at 18h00 that the kitchen was already closed! I left with a sad feeling as my routes were deeply entrenched in that golf club of which I have fond memories. A new owner could turn both the lodge and the Golf Club around.

It was great, clean and presentable. Room service / cleaning is included and therefore the rooms need to be cleaned every day / they skipped days. Ask if we need room service at the breakfast table. Other than that, it was excellent.

I booked accommodation for my brother and his son who were visiting us from Germany. Andrea at the reception was very nice and helpful. The rooms were also nice and clean. My concern is the gardening (long grass) also around the pool and the trees which needed attention. The walkways and around the trees could be swept more regularly. As we are staying in the area, this was comfortable for my family.

Surprisingly nice stay in Rossmund Lodge near Swakopmund, easily reached from the new Highway between Walvis Bay and Swakopmund. Our cabin was spacious, clean, had a big bath with bathtub and shower, a little dressing area with a refrigerator, cups and glasses for tea or coffee, and a hot water cooker. The beds were comfortable, a fan was supplied for added comfort during hot weather. In addition a little patio with a small table and chairs complimented the arrangement. We did not use the pool, but it looked clean. Breakfast was included in the price, it was usually bread , jam, some cold cuts, cheese, any form of eggs with bacon and sausage, if desired. All in all a pleasant experience. The personnel was always friendly and helpful.The Golf resort also had a restaurant where we often had lunch, also highly recommended.

Great experience, with great food, a beautiful environment, and very friendly staff!!! felt like a home away from home. the rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable! However, it was cold, it would be great to provide firewood for guests as there was a nice fireplace in the room that we couldn't utilize during our stay. and because the place is a bit out of town it was a bit expensive moving around.

A memorable experience at this beautiful golf resort in the middle of the desert just on the outskirts of Swakopmund. I loved playing the course and enjoyed the sight of the springboks grazing the fairways. I appreciated the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff servicing this area. A thumb up!

We have stayed 4 nights in August 2023. The location is great as it is in Swakopmund but just outside of Swakopmund. Quiet, neat and comfortable place for a couple. The fireplace made it really cool as the winter nights in Swakop were really cold! The staff is friendly and helpful, they helped to sort out our Sandwich harbour trip. Breakfasts were tasty and on time. Happy to come back if around Swakopmund. I would like to recommend the place!
