Hotel Murano

The amenities aren’t what they used to be. Allot has changed but the staff is amazing.

Hotel lobby and amenities looked very nice from a distance, however I didn't use any of them. I was there only to spend the night with my girlfriend. The room was very average for the rate I paid. There was nothing spectacular worth noting

My husband and I stayed for a Valentines getaway. The hotel lobby is nice, the bedroom appears like any other mid hotel. Early dinner at the restaurant was good. And then it all goes downhill from here. We planned on having a few drinks at the bar and a small app. Turns out they closed the kitchen an hour early on a Saturday. We left the hotel in search of a more lively atmosphere and found nothing. On the way back we could hear a car alarm going off in tbe parking lot. The non covered and non secure lot they charge hotel guests $28/night to park at. Security guard said he just intercepted a car break in. When asked about our vehicle, he shrugged his shoulders and said "It's Tacoma, cars get broken into and stolen weekly". I guess fingers crossed our car is there in the morning. Our King size bed was so uncomfortable I couldn't sleep. The mattress was sloped so my head was a lot lower vs my feet. The cherry on top was zero warm/hot water for a shower the next day. I had a meeting and had to rush home to get ready, skipping breakfast. Hotel lobby tried to excuse lack of hot water on occupancy. Get a bigger tank, you're a hotel. My husband spoke to the manager and was promised a full refund. But they only gave half back and since we used points we don't have enough for another hotel. Promised a foliw up as to why no full refund and heard nothing back. At least they refunded the parking fee. I won't say to avoid Tacoma but when it comes to hotels you should avoid Hotel Murano.

Property was nice. As others have said, the Glass Sculptures were nice to look at. Only downside was parking was $26 and no restaurants within walking distance.

We love this hotel in general. The problem is the age. The window in our room let a lot of noise from the outside bleed in and the heater unit was quite loud and clicked on and off so many times that we just turned it off. It is still a wonderful place to be in general, but even when you "upgrade" the basic rooms, you may still have issues with some elements like the windows and HVAC.

The bed was SO comfortable. The bathroom was a great size, super adorable. The TV was really small, however. And it didn’t work very well, it seemed a little staticky as if it didn’t have a good connection. But other than that the hotel is gorgeous and the room was great

Reallly like this hotel. Connected parking. Espresso in the building EV charging. 24/7 gym Deff be back

Great front desk and restaurant staff! Room was clean and bed comfortable. We’ll definitely stay again.
