Taipei – hotele 2-gwiazdkowe

Service - There was no one at front desk when we came. But good thing their contact number is easy to call, someone picked up right away and acknowledged our arrival. At the same time, another stuff already came to open the door for us and accommodate us (not sure if he just went out quickly then we coincidentally arrived or he saw us or was told to go back since we called). Anyway, it was no biggie. Note that their front desk has a certain operating hours so make sure to contact them ahead of time if you’ll be late or be early for your check-in or reach out to them within their operating hours for your concerns. Location - it’s still still considered good even though there’s a few minutes walk to get into Ximending street compare to other dorm type that are already within the Ximending street. Given its price. It’s still good. Cause I think this is the cheapest among the ones we booked. Cleanliness - this is where they have to WORK ON for real. Like there are small spaces in the sides of the bed (the bed did not fit the entire bed case) so you’ll see the sides, it has dust, hair, cotton buds, and especially once you pull it up. The underbed even have a biscuit. Like they probably just change the beddings and pillow cover. Just want to share also what I overheard when we were checking out. The other staff was telling the guest that he saw her putting i think something that shouldn’t be included to the basket. (The guest was also a foreigner, japanese I think, not sure, and the staff was like telling her he saw her do it. I mean, sure, if the lady was trying to deny it, she was obviously trying to save herself from embarrasment, it’s not like she stole something or broke a rule. Like I was wondering why he had to keep on scrubbing it on her face that it was her who did it. What did he want the guest to feel? Or do? That discussion kinda took about 3-5 minutes lol. Though the staff said it was fine afterall. I think he just wanted to make a point and instill to that lady that he did see her.) Anyway, another thing is that I wish we got reminded that there’d be a room cleaning service. Cause we booked a 6-bed room for the 6 of us so we won’t have to share with a stranger. So we were expecting that it’s basically considered as a private room for the 6 of us. So we did leave our luggages open. Had we known, we would’ve of course closed them before leaving. Like I might or might not have lost something, and I would not realize it. I personally, don’t remember all the stuff I got in my luggage. Though I’d always bring the important stuff with me like the passport, wallet, ids. But what if I still have other important stuff that I can’t bring with me every time i go out? Like a macbook, or another gadget, or spare IDs, or my other wallet with my country’s money in it, etc. Will I stay here again? Yes, especially if I need a cheap place to stay. If they got the cheapest rate available from the time I’m booking then yes. They got lockers beside your bed like normal dorm type. But I think it’s bigger than usual. Like it could fit a handcarry(?) didn’t get to try though. But looks like 1 handcarry luggage could fit.

the location is convenient located in Ximen, just a 8-10 minutes walk from Ximen Station. i booked a double room. there was no window. the room was a little noisy when phone alarms in nearby rooms started ringing. the facility is clean enough. the front desk was efficient but seemed not so friendly as when i checked out already, i tried to sit for a while to check the phone, the front desk told me checked-out customer should not stay long but there was no other people in their lobby. the price to value wasn't that good as I paid about $1600 for a double room with public washroom during weekend but i paid the same amount for similar lodge with private washroom in Taipei Station which is also convenient. I was not allowed to bring in friend to my room here.

Very cosy room and convenient location, very near to Rao He Night Market, within walking distance. The breakfast was good and the service top notch as well. There is a laundry room for washing and drying clothes too. The staff was very helpful, we asked to borrow a travel adaptor as we did not bring one with us and they gladly loaned us one, just had to return when we check out. Overall very value for money!!

It was a very conveniently located hostel in Ximen. The staff did their best to explain things in English, which was helpful. The facility has a water heater, so it is possible to cook cup noodles. The bed in the room I stayed in was a little thin, but personally it didn't bother me. All rooms have number keys, so you can enter the room with peace of mind as long as you have the card they give you or take a photo of you. Above all, the cute miscellaneous goods and decorations were a little nice.

Some staff were nice. Some were not (maybe im a foreigner so they are less friendly) . They have hourly charge once you arrived a lil but late (like 10pm only) and I have to pay extra! I dont think that's worth it. It's in Ximen but really very close to it. You have to walk 15mins. Room is good. Price is so-so. Have big lounge space. Water. Kitchen.

The second stay, this hotel picks up a phone call (the phone hangs on the wall of the hotel entrance). I originally saw the app saying that the counter service only arrived at 8 pm, but I arrived at the hotel at 10 pm and was worried that I could not enter. The service lady at the end of the phone said that their phone was 24 hours service. Don't worry about finding someone after eight. The service lady is very good, not as bad as Google said (maybe I am lucky?), there is a Ningxia Night Market nearby, it is very convenient, there are many grids of locomotives, there is an elevator in the hotel, the toilet is dry and wet, the TV is large, 540 yuan can also have window room types, etc. ... This is probably all the advantages. If you have a downside, the hotel's contact number is basically fake, you can't get in at all, the phone on the hotel wall needs to be a lot of calls before someone answers, the soundproofing of the room door is very bad, the sound on the corridor is obvious, the smell of smoke when entering the room door, And the most bizarre is the height of the head of the lotus, what giant installed at the beginning!

Every time I go to Taipei, more than 90% of them will choose to stay at North Gate Wobo Travel WOW Poshtel . In addition to the proximity to Taipei Station, the transportation is very convenient. In addition to the flat floor or underground street of the station, eating is also very convenient. The price of accommodation is cheap per night. Passengers in either girls' or mixed single beds will respect other passengers and lower the volume after entering the room. The single beds have curtains for proper privacy. The space of the double bed suite (2C room) is small, and there is no place to put it when there is a large suitcase. The bathroom is 75% dry and wet. If you can add a simple shower curtain, the water will not splash on the toilet.

Very distinctive hotel, refurbished from an old building, well-managed, clean and tidy, the staff are very careful in organizing, and it is very close to Taipei Main Station, with convenient transportation, it is an accommodation with a high CP value.

Great location but had difficulties locating the entrance initially. I was allocated to a small room which was very run down with small window. (I paid for full length window room that shown on the site). I was transferred to the new room after I shown them the room photo which I paid for. They agreed to change the next day as they are fully booked over the weekends. I felt being cheated. Fortunately, the night receptionist was very patient with me. Overall, the staff are very friendly except the one who checked me in on the first day. I could sense her impatient when required for room change and she lied to me that isn't any large window in this hotel. She firmly told me that all the room has the same small window which is untrue. Please be firm with what you had booked and confront them if needed. I didn't take the first room's photos as I was upset for what I had given.

The location is very good, just a few tens of meters from the exit of the MRT, the elevator is directly accessible, the actual check-in has to wait until after 4 o'clock, the sound insulation effect is very poor, the corridors can be heard clearly, and the toilet is faulty. It should be repaired soon.
