The check in and out service is simply A DISASTER. The cost is high for a poor… EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE

Don’t let the earlier reviews put you off. We have stayed at 4&5 stars across the island and Destino have exceeded our expectations. The check in process was smooth, they give you the option to leave a big deposit to use to charge to the room (1500euros) or a guarantee of 500euros then just pay bills as you go. No unexpected expenses. . The rooms (we had the lowest price destino room) there is are clean and comfortable, enough space to relax dress and get ready large balcony’s even the rows further back have sea views. I particularly want to commend the staff around the pool restaurant and reception. Everyone is friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have the best experience. Martina, Brandon and Juan Carlos are exceptional members of the Destino team. We loved the music around the pool, it was perfect and gave the daytime the feel of being in your own beach club without the crowds and expenses of other beach clubs. The guests are all on the same page, no loud annoying groups of youngsters, classy , cool sophisticated young adults only allowed here. Will definitely be back

We stayed 2 different weekends in this hotel I can say it is expensive place, but you know where are you going… Room and cleaning: Hotel is very clean. First time we stayed in sea view suite and it was wonderful. The room is big, comfortable and well maintained. The shower is huge and 2 sinks make the stay comfortable. In room is absolutely everything, can’t complain about suite. Second time we took standard room, as we were planning to go at the pool party. The room is small, but clean and with balcony. What is really missing in the room- complimentary water, for this price it must be unlimited. Breakfast: I truly believe that breakfast is the best part of the hotel, including food quality and service. The quality and presentation of food so wonderful, as you feel really like in 5 star hotel. Special thanks to Carlos (waiter), he made our stay very memorable. Breakfast and service was one of the reason we back there. Lunch at the restaurant: food is great, service could be more faster. Pool service: absolutely wonderful team, snacks and drinks are really great, though little overpriced… Thanks to Sofia and all team Pool Music: if you go to Pacha, you go for music. First week of June, pool party and DJ were simply top, very very nice set and super professional DJs. The second stay, when season was opened, and famous DJs were invited, was really disappointed. The DJs thought being famous is enough… they were not try to get know even with system, noise was breaking every time and was quite annoying popular songs from radio or any low cost bar… Pacha club: wonderful, great and breathtaking! Absolutely 10 out 10 Reservation system: it was some problem to reserve the room for members, IT should check the issue. Thanks to reservation, he fixed it at first moment. I would like to say thanks to all team members who makes our stay memorable: Lupe (from guest service, so helpful, so welcoming, absolutely stunning lady), Carlos - from breakfast , Thomas who brought us to airport and other nice employee who met us there, Camilla, Sofia, reservation manager (do not remember name), Jose from front office team. I can name all. Team is really your strong point. I hope we can come back again!

This year I went with my partner to the hotel and they ripped us off! I am careful when booking with them. They ask you for a deposit of 200 euros or 600 euros, we left 200 euros, we paid our expenses in another account apart from 22 euros but they never returned any money. I have emails from the team saying that the refund was made, I should see it with my bank, which is a lie. WHAT A TEAM WORK DISASTER!!!!!! I NEVER BACK HERE

Rooms are disgusting. Sorry but this hotel is not good. The rooms are tiny. Feel damp and dirty. The shower area is so small and the sink in the bathroom is terrible. Worse than a British travel lodge. Not enough towels in the room for two people, there’s no flannels or free toiletries. This is supposed to be a luxury hotel. It’s terrible. The grounds are not looked after, the grass needs cutting and the bush near our room was so overgrown we could barely get around it to walk to our room. The food is very expensive. The pool area is nice I suppose but to get a drink by the pool took forever. I would not stay here again. It’s not worth the money, Could do so much better. I didn’t like it.

Do yourself a favour and stay away! Probably one of the worst hotels I think I have ever stayed in and I was travelling for six weeks through Europe. The room was not the room we paid for the rooms are unbelievably tiny. The smallest room we stayed at in our trip. The food was very average! Rooms were not clean. Took us 1 hour and 45 minutes to check in without being given the fundamentals of our check-in. The gym is on dirt and the ground is so uneven. It can’t be safe. It’s ridiculous. They have no spa which makes no sense for claiming to be a 4.5 star. All the staff kept saying was “we are so sorry we are under new ownership. Things have changed”. Not good enough Destino !!!

Stayed here for 5 nights early August. To say this is a 4 star hotel is way off the mark, the rooms at best are as good as a travel lodge. The rooms are tired, small, not overly clean and not value for money at all. Throughout our stay we had to keep requesting to get our rooms cleaned when we would return after 4pm, completely unacceptable. The pool area is fantastic but the staff need some work on manners! The food and drink is overpriced for what you get. I really feel this hotel is just here to rip off their customers, would not recommend and will certainly not be back.

To be clear, this is a review of the Pool area - not the hotel rooms. We have been gong to Destino Pacha for the day - once or twice a year - for many years and have always really enjoyed it. There has been a recent refit of the pool area and, as a part of this, the sunbeds are now smaller - and more of them packed in - so the area now feels intensively developed, and therefore less exclusive. Also (at least on the day we were there, a Tuesday) the music, - which used to start off quite laid back and with a great vibe earlier in the day; and then get progressively more intense & louder as the afternoon wore on - was played at a very high volume straight away; to the point where we could not speak to each other without almost shouting, it was very intrusive. The DJ is now positioned on a pedestal in the middle of the pool and she was clearly having a great time; but it all appeared to be more about her than the guests, if that makes sense. I would say the vibe they were aiming at was more like one of the beach clubs at San Antionio like "O Beach", rather than the sophiscated & refined atmosphere we have previously experienced at Destino Pacha. One of our party said it reminded him of Las Vegas. I appreciate this is all subjective opinion and if you like the idea of what I have described above then you will probably have a great time; the view is terrific and the pool itself nice; but after perhaps 15 visits over the last 10 years we will not be rushing back to Destino Pacha resort. We do feel that since Pacha group was sold back in (2017?) it has slowly become less special and more comercialised, which is a shame. For the record, 4 of us paid 900 Euros for (from memory, so I am not saying this is totally accurate) 4 bottles of rose, 1 coffee, water, 1 portion sushi & 1 portion tortilla chips/quacamole and a fruit smoothie. Prices have gone up quite a bit from last year. I mention this last because price is not our first consideration, rather the experience we have. On this occasion, not special.
