Hotel Termas da Curia

As senhoras da limpeza são muito simpáticas. A Carina, que se encontra na recepção é muito simpática e muito prestável, em contraste, só tenho a apontar sobre o pessoal que estava a servir no pequeno almoço. Perguntei se podia ficar numa mesa junto a janela, uma vez que as mesas que estavam preparadas estavam todas na parte contrária, disseram que sim, que eu podia pegar na louça e transportar para o outra mesa. Assim o fiz, e instalei me numa mesa grande (só me tinha apercebido destas mesas junto a janela). Quando fui buscar comida, os dois funcionários que ficaram sempre no meio da sala, indicaram para usar mesas mais pequenas. A sala estava bastante vazia, e pelo número de mesas preparadas via se que estavam a espera de poucos clientes, que não iriam utilizar todos as mesas, tal como aconteceu. A atitude destes dois funcionários não me caiu bem. Podiam ter-se dado ao trabalho de pelo menos indicar as mesas que pretendiam que o cliente se sentasse (na altura não reparei nas mesas porque estavam de lado). Esperaram que o cliente mudasse, e, numa lei do menor esforço, é que indicam que tinha que voltar a ter de mudar de mesa. Está diferença de atitude da recepção para a parte do restaurante faz a diferença toda no atendimento. Quarto muito limpo e aquecido com regulação. Muito silencioso.

We had a beautiful stay at this Pet-friendly hotel, they are allowing dogs over 23kg, which in Portugal is very good, most Hotels only accept over 15kg! The hotel is nice with friendly staff, located inside a beautiful garden, where you can relax do some reading or walk with your dog. We enjoyed the breakfast pretty good with different options even for vegetarians, mind that the dog is not allowed on the breakfast room! Thank you very much to Carina and Guilherme for being super friendly, regards from Blimunda, she is already missing you!

I liked the room, very airy and very sunny. The staff were friendly and the food was very good - The hotel has a small forest where we can walk around. I also liked the possibility of making a thermal circuit. I only did the Scottish shower and I really liked it.

Officially, the hotel has a 3-star rating, but that should be 1 or at most 2 stars! Pros: the hotel is located in a quiet park-like area, and many years ago it most likely boasted thermal baths. They are not in use anymore, and they are more like a museum. The hotel looks charming from the outside. Cons: the room was absolutely worn out. The furniture should have been replaced long ago; the air condition was not functional, and there was a foul smell of mould and dirt. The acoustics in the restaurant was bad to say the least, and the staff were in no way waiters. Everything was chaos. So do not eat in! If possible the best piece of advice is not to come there at all!

The hotel is very nice, the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly, and the rooms large and welcoming. Breakfast is fine for a 3-star hotel. The evening meals whilst plentiful are a bit disappointing. The surrounding buildings are in desperate need of rehabilitation - it is almost painful to see those once grand buildings falling into disrepair. The same goes for the parc which is huge but needs lots of work to be put back to its original glory : the artificial lake is full of algae, a building (former café?) adjoining a tennis court has been bricked up, the play areas, little boats and more all look very tired. I had booked into this hotel with a view to using the spa which turned out to be quite a disappoin**ent. First of all, it is not directly attached to the hotel but a bit further in the parc. It is more of a medical establishment and definitely not the place to go for a relaxing time. The quality and temperature of the water are great and it is just a shame one has to remain in a smallish pool with no views.

É um local agradável para as férias com bom pequeno-almoço e bom atendimento. Precisa de uma repaginada em seu mobiliário que tem um estilo antiquado e que tornaria mais agradável a nossa estadia. A parte da antiga Termas estava em reforma o lago tava sujo e os pedalinhos quebrados e abandonados, os jardins precisam de melhores cuidados. Não entendi se a parte externa onde fica os jardins e lago pertencem as Termas mas poderiam ser bem mais apresentados.

Tendo reservado 2 quartos, esperava que fossem contíguos ou pelo menos no mesmo corredor, mas não, ficaram imensamente longe um do outro; foi-me dito que não havia no mesmo corredor, então que fossem os dois mais longe mas sempre no mesmo corredor uma vez que somos pais e filhas...

Hotel para pausa perfeita É bastante acolhedor os empregados são muito atenciosos é super limpo, as refeições são equilibradas, os quartos são amplos e as camas confortáveis. Tem lareira, bicicletas para passeios ao ar livre. Fica bem junto das termas.
