This hotel is amazing. The staff are always smiling and helpful, and the hotel itself is very deserving of its 5 star status. Everything is immaculate and clean. Despite being a large hotel, it is so peaceful. The views were fabulous, the private beach was a real bonus - to be able to sit in the sun and have drinks/snacks delivered all day :) I had a treatment at the spa, very relaxing. The spa area is very zen. Room service was prompt, and if we ever needed anything for the room (towels, water etc) it was delivered quickly. The gin bar is definitely worth a visit - the meloncholy cocktail was a firm holiday favourite. All in all a perfect de-stressing holiday.

Spent a week here and would highly recommend. We were upgraded to a sea front room and would definitely book this again next time. The hotel is beautifully designed with luxurious, high quality finishes and furnishings. The room was stunning and all areas of the hotel felt thought about with no expense spared. The beach area and beach itself immaculate. Breakfast was available until 11am and had everything you could possibly want with a high standard of service as well. Through the day there are two pools, both have ample space and shade if needed with a bar service. There were 3 restaurants available when we were there with a 4th opening mid June. We felt for a hotel of this size choice was a little limited (ie, they have pizza ovens but only offer a few choices of topping). Food is also expensive for Morocco but expected in this kind of hotel. The Japanese restaurant was stunning with good food and a great vibe - we dined there twice in our stay. There didn't seem to be many other options within walking distance of the hotel however a short taxi drive could get you to some. There are surf schools and small local restaurants just along the coastal path by Devils Rock which we didn't really feel like experimenting with! Things that could have been better: We found it quite difficult to get drinks at the adult pool bar. This was the only part of the hotel where service fell down - in particular a grumpy barman who seemed a bit put out to get you a drink.. there was a younger guy with him who seemed much better. If they came round regularly they most likely would have made much more money out of us, but they didn't. Guide to the restaurants is a bit confusing. You access the information from the TV in the room via QR codes. However, not updated (did not even have the tapas restaurant on there) - we would have welcomed a good old fashioned directory/guide in the room! Other: We travelled in June. Don't be put off by the Tagazhout trip advisor reviews (they're mostly dreadful) but the hotel is like a piece of paradise that sits aside the reputation. The sea looked clean and the beach certainly was. It was really quiet when we were there and it felt like we had the hotel mostly to ourselves. Weather was perfect, 23-27 degrees most days and comfortable in the morning and evenings. A good wind can pick up from the sea which we loved and made laying around much more comfortable. Feels like a perfect time of year to visit. There is a problem with stray dogs, however you just feel sorry for them (and the cats) - they seemed harmless and friendly and all looked like they just needed a bit of love and care. We'd come back only to stay in this hotel for a quiet few days away, nothing else in Tagazhout appealed enough to warrant a return. Maybe in a few years when some other big resorts are open and the coastline has been developed.

This was my second stay at the Fairmont Tagazout in just 4 weeks! This time with my son Rafferty and daughter Kamalika. Both are uni students. Raf spent everyday studying for exams - ouch! But he did it in a room with a superb view of the sea!! Night time was about food - and the Japanese restaurant 'Morimoto' was a massive hit. My daughter meanwhile only worked on her tan! But equally enjoyed every mouthful of the food she ate at the hotel - especially the buffet breakfasts. Given I'd stayed and was blown away by the Fairmont just a few weeks before - I was so delighted that nothing had changed. I still had the most beautiful welcomes and awesome experience. The team are fab and a special thank you and recognition for Abderrahim and his amazinggggg front of house team: Hassan - Soukaina - Ilham - Fatimzahra - Aicha - Habib & Ahmed. And a great big thumbs up to Youseff the king of the concierge - he's a dude! For me, travelling with my big 'little' people is about time - precious time to just be with people you love. So thank you Fairmont Tagazout for allowing this to happen. See you next time x

The Fairmont Taghazout is a wonderful place, family suite was huge and full sea view, the location is on an amazing beach (super clean, no rocks, great waves), all the experiences in the restaurants are a treat and the service is excellent at anytime of the day and from everyone !! We will definitely come back.

Amazing short stay! Couldn’t believe how quiet it was. The staff are amazing, so kind and welcoming. The food is brilliant, amazing menus all across the hotel. Sense of true luxury. The beach opposite is beautiful, can’t wait to return soon
