Apartments on Fiedler

We were disappointed with this accommodation, the apar**ent is dark & cluttered with bulky, well-worn furniture, dusty fake flower arrangements and assorted ornaments, old dark pictures on the walls and all the appliances are very old. The whole apar**ent presents as a storage place for all things the owners wish to keep, resembling a second-hand shop. Although the cost is comparable with this region, the following updates & fixes would justify the price being charged: • We expected breakfast provisions for the first morning • No basics are provided, apart from Instant coffee, Tea bags, S&P. Cooking oil, sauces etc should be provided, these would be left by previous guests but obviously not left in accommodation • Coffee machine - Update old dripper to a coffee pod machine with a selection of coffee pod types • TV - Very old and there is only local free to air channels, streaming should be available, WiFi slow and did not always work • Cooking equipment - One large saucepan, no lid, a large stockpot, stainless steel frypan • Kitchen equipment -Two (2) only drinking glasses, 3 wine glasses & 2 flutes • The crockery & cutlery is all a mismatched • Opening the plastics drawer provides an odour of stale plastic • Laundry toilet seat needs properly securing • BBQ, old dusty & fatty, needs a good clean, or better still replacement • Outside area - Needs more privacy from other guests coming & going and table needs upgrading, surface of metal chairs is badly chipped, umbrella is too small to provide adequate shade • Main bed - Old, creaks when getting in and out of bed with worn-out soft mattress • Wardrobe - Has 4 usable coat hangers & the drawers & shelves are full of bedding supplies making no room for guests clothing etc. The included bottle of wine, a white from New Zealand, should be a bottle of Barossa Valley wine. We could not recommend and would not choose this accommodation next time.

We stayed here for 3 nights in the Adonis Apar**ent. The apar**ents are situated in an old house but have been portioned off to a very high standard. The apar**ent has a large kitchen, own laundry, lounge, bedroom and bathroom. There is more than enough room for a couple. It is a short walk to the cafes and restaurants if you don’t want to eat in. That said, we found being able to relax ‘at home’ with a home cooked meal and a bottle of wine very nice! Would highly recommend staying here. There is more than enough to do around the area for at least a couple of nights and this is a great place to base yourself.

My husband and I have stayed at this beautiful well maintained property several times. We just love it. It has lovely old world charm and is spotlessly clean. It is very well located to the main street, but the house itself is located in a very quiet spot with no traffic noise and the beds are very comfortable.You can easily walk to several excellent restaurants. The units are spacious and very homely.I highly recommended this property for as place to stay. Perfect for couples. Thank you again Dale

A lovely well situated apar**ent in Tanunda. Lovely welcome message nice bottle of red and chocolates to greet us. Thank you Dale. Charming apar**ent with everything we needed. Clean and well equiped. Close to everything we had gone there for. Would recommend for that good country hospitality
