Residence Villa Il Glicine

Had the best experience at Villa il Glicine. On arrival, the apar**ent was clean and well-appointed, and the owners were extremely helpful in every way (they handled a medical issue for us so that we saw a doctor nearby within an hour with zero fuss). The villa is extremely well-located, only moments from the main street and a short stroll to the cableway to take you down to the lovely local beaches. There's a bar next door, a bakery next to that and several restaurants and pizza places right across the street. Saying that, it's just secluded enough to feel like an oasis of calm in the busy town centre. We made good use of the pool and jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing after a hard day on the beach or sightseeing. Even on a cloudy day, there's a lot to see and do in town and nearby. All in all, we had an excellent time and would highly recommend making this a base for your stay in the beautiful town of Taormina.

Lovely apar**ent. Exactly what we expected. Thanks for a lovely stay. Staff very friendly and helped navigate us to move car when we went out for the day and was always smiling. We enjoyed our stay here with 2 adults and one child. Hot tub was welcome addition which we enjoyed frequently. Apar**ent clean and fresh towels daily Parking was difficult bit hey we are English and struggle with all the tight spaces abroad. Apar**ent centrally located for everything. Thank you all.

Our “non-smoker” room had a strong tobacco smell and the general manager of the hotel did not inform us prior of this issue and neither searched an alternative solution for us arguing that the hotel was fully booked and that a reimbursement was not possible even if he agreed on the fact that the smell was very strong?!! In fact, after having checked id, we discovered a room in which the tobacco smell was hardly bearable… We directly asked for another room but the hotel was fully booked. We asked to speak to the owner of the hotel but he refused to have a phone call with us. In addition, he stopped answering to our emails when we asked for a full reimbursement of the reservation after having left this place. At 9pm, we had to find another place to sleep and spend another 150€ for a room. So far, we did not receive any money back.This place is not worth your money and has one of the baddest customer service we experienced. We are still hoping to get our money back and launched a legal procedure against this hotel.
