Tamarit Beach Resort

We are staying at Tamarit Beach resort at the moment. At the moment of reservation you can choose a plot with private sanitaire but it says between 90/120m2. The differents between the plots are huge but you pay the same amount for both. Why not make a difference in price for a 120m2 plot and an 95m2 plot? That makes it easier to understand and you know what you are getting. The plot we are standing in is small. And the biggest thing is, you are standing very close to each other with no privacy. There is no green between the plots. We are unlucky to have someone who is staying for around 6 weeks and is working from his tent and having team meetings sturing the whole day. Not a very relaxing feeling if you are on a holiday. But the worst is the snoring through the whole night. It starts at 00:00 and keeps going Till 09:00. We have asked the reception several times of there was a different plot available but the answer is everytime no. Eventhought the plot at the corner is a plot where people stay a few days and go again. Why not a switch with out plot? We have told the neighbour about the snoring but he is doing nothing about this. Even our children wake up diring the night. We sleep with earplugs in, have place a extra fan in the tent against the noice, have put the jbl box on with sleeping Music or white noice te help sleep but the snoring Goes right through. And the receptionist starts laughing if you tell about it and doesn’t help or come with solutions. One night we have our back neighbours, which are also directly next to our plot, started preparring to leave at 03:30. So we are really tired after 10 days staying here and we still have to go 5 days. I mention this because you can keep in mind the small plots and the lack of privacy. If you have a plot of 120m2 this will be beter we think. We paid quilt a lot of money for this plot 95m2 (more than €2700) and booked as one of the first so we expected a bit more space and privacy. We gave the measurments of our tent at the Booking. The private sanitair is clean and beautiful and very spacious. The direction of the plot is perfect near the beach and the beach bar is also very good and nice. But if you ask me if I would go again to this camp site I would say no. I go home more tired that I arrived.

When you chose a 5 star resort you expect a certain quality of the accommodation, and great level of service. In our case, our “luxury” bungalow was basically rotten: from the oxidized dishwasher to the WC which was basically going to fall through the floor (no joking). We reported the issue the same day we arrived, and were offered to swap to another bungalow after 2 days (2 days without being able to use the WC…). Is this a 5 star? No compensation was offered (apart for 1h in the SPA a ridiculous) - did we really pay 500 euros per night for this?? Stay away - unless they decide to finally invest in maintenance - and real customer service.

One of the best camping resorts on Costa Dourada next to the excellent beach on a natural preserved part of the coast Resort with different bungalows is perfect retreat for nature lovers snd families. The byngalows are spavilus, well equiped, close parking spots. There is lot of shadowbfor sunn days, long beach just in front. And there are lots of small covesin a walkable distance. Resort has git sport facilitirs, pool, vhildren playgrpunds and animation. Personnel is atentive. There is also a good restaurant and inviting spa with jakuzzy, pool, saunas...

We love this place! We have been here with a family and we love everything about it. Staff is friendly, and the quality is good.

Upon arrival at the campsite, the assigned pitch turned out to be too small for a motorhome, even though this was what we had booked. This was partly due to a leaning tree on the plot and the neighbors' drawbar sticking out, which the park apparently permitted. We were then given the option to change pitches, but only by paying an additional fee, despite this not being our fault. Furthermore, a terrible and disruptive stench is coming from several drains across the campsite. At the swimming pool, there is a lot of nuisance caused by the entertainment team, who shout through the microphone multiple times a day. The sanitary facilities are rarely cleaned, and there are insufficient showering facilities. In the evening, there is a lot of noise disturbance from youngsters until around 12:30 AM. Security only takes action after this time. During our stay, we raised these various issues with customer service. However, they only responded after our departure. Customer service refuses to take any responsibility for these deficiencies. The positive aspect of this campsite is the view of the castle from the beach.

Great campsite, but a serious and recurring problem with noise and security at night We have been coming to Tamarit for years, and unfortunately there is one problem that keeps happening year after year: excessive noise at night. Guests in the Preferent Premium area are regularly disturbed by groups shouting and making noise late into the night, making it extremely difficult to sleep. Despite repeatedly reporting these situations, the problem continues and we don’t feel that effective measures are being taken to enforce the campsite’s own quiet hours. What is particularly concerning is what we have been told by members of the security staff themselves: they say that there is little they can do because, when they intervene with some of these groups, they risk being assaulted. If this is really the situation, then this is no longer just a noise problem — it is a serious security and management issue that should be addressed by the resort. There is also a strange inconsistency regarding access from the beach at night. One beach gate is closed, while another is apparently left open because, as we have been told, fewer people cause problems through that entrance. This does not seem like an adequate solution to a problem that has been going on for years. This is particularly disappointing because Tamarit positions itself as a premium resort and prices have increased considerably over the years. When you pay premium prices for a Preferent Premium pitch, being able to sleep at night should be a basic expectation. There are many things we still like about Tamarit, and that is precisely why we keep coming back. But after experiencing the same issue repeatedly over several years, it is frustrating to see that it remains unresolved. Higher prices should come with higher standards — especially when it comes to something as fundamental as guests being able to rest at night and feel that security issues are being properly managed. We sincerely hope management takes this seriously NOW! and finally introduces effective measures to guarantee quiet hours, control access and ensure that both guests and security staff are properly protected.

We gave the measurments of our tent at the Booking and asked several times if it would fit with space to move around the tent. The service at the park and the reception is perfect. They tried to help us but the are no plot avalaible or a bungalow ( we tried to book this because of the noice) The private sanitair is clean and beautiful and very spacious. The direction of the plot is perfect beat the beach and the beach bar is also very good and nice. But if you ask me if I would go again to this camp site I would say 100% no. We go home more tired that we arrived.

Just back from out third stay with Tamarit beach resort. We've had great holidays there and great memories over the last 3 years and highly recommend it. Tamarit beach resort is a unique place, great for families and feels relaxed and safe. Love having the option of the beach and the pool. Water sports available with paddle boats and kayaks available to rent from kiosks and plenty of activities/sports etc on the campsite. The staff are very friendly across the resort and really helpful. Lovely reception staff. We booked a transfer with Tamarit to the water park and other family members booked an airport transfer, great service and Fabio is a lovely guy.Food from the different restaurants is good, great that they have the sushi place too. Take away is handy for the kids. Good selection of food at the campsite supermarket and if you need more optionsu, the large supermarkets(caprabo, mercadona, Veritas etc) are just 20 minutes walk away on a nice nature trail from just outside the gates of the campsite. The resort grounds are neat and tidy, flowers add lovely colour and the gardeners are constantly working to maintain the standard. We've stayed in the Pineda and Iris cabins. Both were comfortable, clean and well equipped with air conditioning. We didnt stay in the camping area so cant comment on those facilities/atmosphere,but the cabin areas are quiet at night. We have visited the Altafulla area for about 15 years and Tamarit is a great choice if you have kids but still want to be near Altafulla. Love the beach bar for a sunset drink and kids can play on the sand. We didn't go to the entertainment or shows in the evening, but other family members staying at Tamarit at the same time did and they said it was good and they enjoyed it. Great stay, thanks!

We’ve just returned from 8 nights at this fantastic resort and are already planning our next trip! The staff are so lovely, they work really hard and the service is exceptional. The entertainment is constant, from morning until night, children and adults are never bored. The grounds are immaculate and there’s not a spot of litter. We stayed in a Noa bungalow which was spacious and had all the home comforts, dishwasher, coffee machine etc. Fresh towels half way through the week, lovely outdoor space and seating area. Beds were really comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. Great facilities, the food at the pool restaurant and take away were delicious and churros at the ice cream bar is a must. If I could give this place ten stars I would!!
