I've been staying at Ocean Pointe since the early 90's and have always enjoyed my stay. I suggest opting for the 2 bedroom model for the master bedroom view of the ocean. The one bedroom units have the bedroom next to the entry door and exterior walkway - the extra money will be rewarded with the view from your bedroom. The resort is convenient to some of the best restaurants in the Upper and Middle Keys as well as Robbie's Mariana and other tourist stops. Even when our destination was Key West we first stop for the night at Ocean Pointe so as to start fresh in the morning to continue our drive south at a relaxed pace. This trip was strictly for relaxation at the resort and it fit the bill perfectly.

Perfect place at the keys. Big rooms, fully equipped kitchen. They have everything we need, no need to bring anything only food. Will keep stying in here at least once a year.

Condo was clean but well-used. Washer didn’t work but we didn’t notice until the night before leaving. If we had reported it sooner i’m sure someone would have fixed it.
Location is good, there is a very small beach park nearby but a great state park is 4 miles away in Key Largo.
The pool is very nice!
Rooms in the Keys are expensive overall, I’m not sure this was worth $400/night though.

Wonderful view, nice private beach area with pier and boats. Staff very helpful and friendly. Check-in process very very clear and hassle free.

Nothing like their website pics. When we walked in the unit we were greeted by a dead roach. I later killed a live one. The a/c never got below 77 degrees. The beach is a couple of hundred yards from the complex.

Check in was quite complicated. It must be done 1 mile away from the building. No housekeeping. You must do your beds and clean the towels.
