It was a good stay. Nice and relaxing. Only thing I noticed that was a negative was that there was mold on the ceiling that they just painted over.

Inconsiderate people fishing leaving cigarette butts.. stinking bait and fish guts on walkway around the canal.

We arrived later than had originally planned. Check in with Cheryl was swift and pleasant. We were advised where to go eat and got there just in time before last orders.
Two pools, we used just the one which was great. Right in the creek good value.

Everything was great except the water in the shower was hard to control, either too hot or too cold. We only stayed 1 night so don’t know what it took to get it fixed

Most other rooms in the hotel seemed to have a private balcony. Ours did not EVEN HAVE A WINDOW!
Room opened right onto the parking lot. At 360 a night (albeit in mid-february) one could expect a bit better?

We had a canal side room, but the back of the room was to the street, with a window, so not very sound proof. Also the only window to the canal was in the bathroom and frosted. The main room window was also frosted, so no way to see out anywhere! There were some chairs outside to enjoy the view.

Staff was very helpful. Great place to stay for a quick trip. Pros: staff, location, size of freezer and fridge for fishing. Cons: older place, but very clean! Slippery when wet floors…. Like dangerously slippery. Be careful getting in and out of shower and even with shoes on if the floor has a drop of water on it. But generally a good place to sleep for the price.

The location of the hotel is very nice but for the price we expected better service. We weren't asking for much, just basic room service 1 out of 3 days on our trip. I requested room service by leaving the tag on our door and also going to the desk to request it before we left that morning at 8:30am. We came back at 7:30pm and nothing had been touched. When I went to the front desk to ask for fresh towels I was told I was the 9th or 10th person that did not get room service as requested. At this time, they came and got our dirty towels and let me know that some clean ones were in the dryer and it would be another 10 minutes. After about 30 minutes of waiting and no towels showing up, I went up to the front desk again - at which point we finally got some towels so I could get my daughter showered and in bed. The building itself is very old and worn down. The only thing they have going is the beds are comfortable and the location is good. If you care about nothing else, this might be then place for you. We will not stay here again.

Noisy fan in bathroom. Can’t shut off w light. Fan caked with lint and dirt. Noise off road in front. Cleaners don’t bring to room things they say they will. Towels etc. mold on shower curtain. Had to put microwave on luggage frame to use. Had to make coffee on skinny bathroom sink.
