Very good place to visit, clean and nice room, helpful and welcoming staff, the hotel manager is active and helpful, remarkable developments, for me it's really a very good and peaceful and warm place to visit in tebessa so go ahead team and never back down ;) .

I was in there and met a smart, intelligent person who was a good mentor to me, named Marwan We toured the city of Tebessa and visited many historical places dating back to the Roman and Byzantine civilizations. It was a good trip and the hotel service was good too

The receptionist kept the passports with him and refused to give them back (the room was already paid in advance ) saying it is legal by law to do so and we can look for another hotel if we don't agree. We were forced to agree because it was late and we spent most of the day travelling, we were tired. I don't know if such a practice is really legal, I always was given my passport back after making a copy of it by the hotel reception as it is a personal ID and might be asked from local authorities if they need to check my stay details in the country. I might be denied from having a new passport if I loose mine by negligence and I am fully responsible of it as it is the property of the State according to my local law. The only occasion I gave the reception my passport is to secure it inside a safe if am worried about thefts then I ask for it back whenever I want. The room looks ok in terms of cleanness, the AC works fine the beds are clean and the fridge works too... but: 1. The toilet flush was broken, they put a bucket to fill it with water and flush manually. 2. Wash basin water tap was loose. 3. No toilet paper was provided. 4. Smoke detector and furniture door for the fridge were broken. Otherwise the price for the value (about 30 USD) per night was fine.
