Makmani Boutique Hotel

Hotel is outstanding and located in the heart of Tbilisi with impressive interior, created throughout in love to old traditional genuine flair. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Room service is outstanding. Absolutely loved this restaurant, the food was amazing, and so was the service. Georgian classic cuisine and unique dishes will be an authentic gastronomic experience!

This hotel is simply perfect, the combination of modern style and Georgian peculiarity and it the extra bonus for tourist visiting Georgia for the first time. The staff is exceptional, and the customer service is top-notch. The rooms are spotless, with the bedding is outstanding ensuring maximum comfort. The location is ideal in the center of city, surrounded by numerous sightseeing , the best restaurant with national courtyard with great cuisine, and a lovely network of places to go for those seeking a bit of tranquility. The rooms are spacious, with several USB ports and a great shower. Daily cleaning is a real bonus. The reception staff is very courteous, and the breakfast will exceed anyone's expectation. I recommend this hotel as an excellent choice for a pleasant stay.

This is a wonderful, reasonably priced hotel in the old Sololaki neighborhood. The staff speak great English and the breakfast is excellent. We have stayed in many hotels throughout Georgia and this one is our favorite! They arranged an airport transfer for us as well.

The air conditioning at the Makmani Hotel is broken. The AC units do not cool below 24 degrees celsius (75 fahrenheit) in the rooms and the lobby is a simmering 27 degrees celsius (80 F). The man working the night shift is entirely unprofessional and incompetent. He first turned up the temperature saying that would resolve it. When it didn't, he became very defensive and started blaming me by saying nobody else in the hotel had complained about this. He even brought a thermometer into the room and we saw the temperature did not drop below 24 degrees, which angered him even further. The hotel has no staff on site to resolve maintenance issues. They also told me there are no emergency repair people available in Tbilisi so they could not fix the issue. They finally agreed to refund me in full and cancel my booking and I gladly moved out. However, this is where it gets really bad. As I was leaving, the man who I was dealing with earlier became extremely aggressive. He started shouting profanities at me, he told me to "get out faster" when in fact I was literally on my way out anyway, and when I told him his behavior was inappropriate he tried to physically assault me. Two other people intervened and stopped him or else he would have hit me. I tried several times thereafter to speak to the management to report this uncouth man's behavior, but they have not returned any of my calls. This is an extremely unprofessionally run hotel and neither the management nor the staff seem to care about the guests nor do they know much about hospitality. Don't stay here. There are several other hotels within 2 minutes walking distance that are more professional and cost around the same price or even less.

We spent 5 days in this lovely cosy and traditional hotel. And it was such an amazing experience. Thr hotel itself was a traditional house with nice style but still giving the feeling that you are in géorgienne house. Not far at all from the centre you can walk to visit all around by feet. Second the services was amazing, lovely staff and they are there to help you to spend a super holiday. And to organise your trip in a professional way. Breakfast was amazing traditional you can take it in the restaurant or in the courtyard and start your day with a positive vibes. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The blend of old-world charm and modern renovations created a delightful ambiance. It's conveniently close to the strategic center, yet so peaceful and secure. Our room charmed us with its balcony, high ceilings, and beautiful arched windows. The breakfast was a highlight—especially the locally-prepared traditional fermented yogurt, which was light and refreshing. Enjoying breakfast in the serene garden was truly special. A huge thank you to Lilly, the excellent manager, for her outstanding service. She arranged a visit to a local spa with hot sulfur water, which was incredible. We are definitely planning to return!

Central but quiet hotel. It is a building that has been recently renovated. There is a 24-hour reception and the staff is very friendly. It has a terrace with tables outside. The pillows are adequate and so is the spaciousness of the rooms with terrace. It does not have its own parking but there is one very close to the hotel.

Very nice hotel conveniently located. The beds were amazing! The inner courtyard magic. The staff is super kind. We left early and they proposed to give us a packed breakfast. Strongly recommended.

Great hotel! Very comfortable, new, beautiful hotel. Located in the very center of Tbilisi. Rooms are very clean, large, have coffee and tea. Very comfortable mattresses and pillows. Very tasty Georgian breakfast. The music, the atmosphere is pleasant. You want to linger in the courtyard of the hotel and enjoy the rest. The staff is responsive and professional. Thank you very much for the hospitality, we will only stay at this hotel in the future. 10 points!
