My husband and I shortly stayed here in 2019 and we had a wonderful time that's why I took my friends this year to stay in the same hotel. However, we were disappointed with a lot of things. #1 - Rate is expensive for the kind of facilities you get, especially that there was no breakfast included, at least. #2 - Shower is so bad. You either burn of hot water or freeze to death with the cold. It never worked in between. I actually got my hands burned in the shower. #3 - All the bathroom fixtures (shower valve, faucet handle, bidet valve) were so bad and were stuck with so much hard water stains. #4 - There is an installed bidet in the toilet bowl in our room which was busted because of the broken bidet valve. There was a nice receptionist who tried to help us out and fix it but the water exploded on his face. I feel so sorry for him. So he eventually locked the valve which means NO BIDET. We had to stand in the shower to clean up after doing a number two. It was so disgusting. #5 - No telephone in the room. We had to take the steep stairs up and down if we needed something from the reception. #6 - No housekeeping. Sheets and towels are not replaced regularly and we had to throw our own trash. The only time somebody went in our room to clean was when our bidet broke down. #7 - Steep stairs. Not advisable to book here if you have huge, heavy luggage. There is no elevator/lift and you have to carry your stuff up using the narrow, steep stairs. #8 - We requested to check out late as our train to Yerevan departs in the evening, they agreed but charged us. After all these disappointments, we were expecting at least a bit of compensation but there was none. The only thing we liked about this hotel is its interior and location. I honestly would not recommend this hotel again to anybody. There are far more better places to stay in Tbilisi with a matching rate.
