A first trip to Georgia (after several attempts) … and the centrally located Hotel City is a great place to see this amazing city from… once you work out how ‘central’ it actually is - within spitting distance of Liberty Square! Highly recommended! დიდი მადლობა

The location is very convenient, close to Liberty Square and to the old city. The double room I had was very nice, well furnished and equipped. Same for the bathroom. Maybe a bit tiny for two people with lot of luggage. The room and the bathroom were made up and cleaned every day. All the hotel looked clean. The breakfast buffet offered a large selection of food, the quality was good and the food I had was tasty and fresh. The staff was kind. A special thank to the one of the guys at the front desk who helped me with a lot of patience to deal with a local call center.

Great new hotel with great amenities. We loved that full breakfast is included and its located in an Old City and there are many restaurants and shops around. The staff is friendly and we got a VIP upgrade with a free bottle of Georgian wine and late checkout.

Location was really good. Located in the old town. Rooms were spacious and modern, but bathroom was very smelly. Parking options are not good though. It says hotel offers parking, but this is not the case. We got a parking fine during our stay as we had to park on the street outside.

Positive experience:
Hotel City is new and well maintained from the inside. It’s located in the old town of Tbilisi and it’s very convenient. You can walk to Liberty Square in less than 2min.
The room we booked was spacious and looks exactly like the pictures.
Negative experience:
We arrived very early to the hotel, around 6:30-7am. We asked if we can check in early, we were told we won’t be able to check in before 11am.
We knew our room was empty so all they need to do was clean it and allow us to check in early, but this didn’t happen. We decided to book another room and paid full price to crash on a bed for 3-4 hours only.
When we entered to our room (supposedly one of the most expensive in this hotel), we could see some hair and dust here and there as if the floor was not cleaned properly. When opening our towels, both of them had a hair on them, while they looked very clean.
One other drawback is the wifi connection. I had to join a work call for a full hour and the internet was very bad.
Breakfast was less than average.
Overall, we found the property very convenient and cute, not very expensive.
