What a lovely hotel and so well run. The staff were friendly and helpful, even though they changed shifts every couple of days, as it’s a small hotel they knew us and had a table reserved at breakfast for us. The room we had was large, the mezzanine floor really good to help give a divide between sleeping and relaxing lounge areas. The beds were really comfy, the shower great. Everything was kept clean and cleaned whilst we had breakfast most days. Having a fridge was handy, and if the weather had been warmer the terrace would have been useful too. As it was a big rainy and cool the heated floor was a real bonus, so I expect it would be lovely and cosy in winter. We could swim in the lake from directly opposite the hotel and I expect rooms on the front had great lake views. The food was good, extensive cocktail menu, and the bar area was cosy. It’s only a short walk to the railway station and the free Guest Card was really great for catching (free) buses round the lake, especially to the Wallberg cable car. We used the ferry too, but that is more expensive. Would definitely return here.

The positioning of the hotel is perfect. We were on the second floor and had a magnificent view of the lake from our balcony. The manager/owner Lorenza is a charming and helpful young lady, who speaks perfect Germany and English. The restaurant was brilliant. Food, service and a**osphere combined to create the perfect dining experience, whether breakfast or dinner. Whilst all the staff couldn’t do enough to help, we did enjoy a few laughs with our waiter Csaba, who not only kept drinks flowing for patrons in the bar area (which has a separate tapas style menu), but also popped into the main restaurant to assist if they need a helping hand. Finally, the hotel is a beautiful traditional German building, with a first class revamped interior…and spotlessly clean. Highly recommend!

This hotel is a great place to stay in this area The only disadvantage was no lift, but even with heavy luggage there was help The rooms are comfortable and ours had two balconies with views over the lake The buffet breakfast was more than adequate and we ate in the house restaurant the two nights of our stay The Staff are exceptional and very helpful for non German speaking guests Especially great Chris in the bar and Leon recommended t.he wine list and helpful suggestions for filling in the day Situated just across the road from the lake and a ferry stop. I would recommend spending an hour on the ferry as it sails around the lake Very good experience

Really happy we went to this hotel in Tegernsee. The room is delightful and modern, the view on the lake magical, the staff so nice and welcoming. There is a road between the hotel and the lake, and the whole town is just a few minutes away Warmly recommend this hotel

Das Seehotel ist toll. Man hat einen wunderschönen Blick auf den See und die Berge. Das Personal extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker. Wir hatten Surf‘n Turf und die Jakobsmuscheln. Beides sehr zu empfehlen.

Ein wunderschönes, familienbetriebenes Hotel direkt am Tegernsee. Sehr höfliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Ich war schon einige Male da und werde ganz sicher wieder kommen.

Pas d ascenseur ds cet hôtel de 3 étages. Impossible pour personnes âgées et handicapés. La chambre sans plus pour le prix de 250€/nuit. Une television ou l on ne peut pas régler le son, une salle de bain quelconque .Le petit-déjeuner pas mal mais sans vienoiseries.par contre bon emplacement mais ça ne justifie pas ce tarif.
