Good location. Near ASU and Salt River front and downtown Tempe. Beautiful hotel. But it did show age, particularly the guest room. But we will stay there again.

We stayed here so my husband ran the rock and roll marathon. The service was excellent the room had a nice view and the bed was comfortable.The room service was expensive with a hospitality fee but the food was good.

When we returned from dinner we asked the person at the check in desk for a bottle of water to take to our room. We were told "no, the water is only for "elite" members". So we asked if we could purchase one and was again told "no, they're only for elite members". We were directed to the vending machine where they sold water for $3.00 each. We attempted twice to purchase a bottle of water from the machine and nothing happened. I will never stay at this hotel agan.

We wanted to enjoy the pool and hot tub, but there was a high school basketball tournament, so abouty fifty teenagers in the pool yelling and screaming and throwing balls around, and the water in the spa was literally muddy brown.

Love this hotel, though they no longer allow pets. I highly recommend the hotel for the location and cleanliness, do not suggest room service as food was subpar. Will not be back since they are Not pet friendly .
