Golden Teak House Peaceful and relaxing place with good food and great hospitality. We got here after 4 days in downtown Bangkok and it was such a relief. The place is 20 minute drive from the Chang Mai city center which makes it quiet but still easily accessible. Except the cute resort area, there is a tasty noodle shop with decent coffee right on the spot. Marcel, the host, speaks fluent English and provides support in transportation and overall guidance. His native lady is an extremely energetic spirit and a fantastic chef - Thai cooking lessons with her were a blast. Room was fresh and clean, the AC functioned well, the breakfasts were tasty. It was a great time there. Thank you guys so much. Hope to come back here one day. Cheers. Aleksandra and Mat from Poland 🇵🇱

Tolles Resort in einer wunderschönen Umgebung und einem super Gastgeber aus Deutschland. Er heißt Marcel und hat in einer für ihn schwierigen Zeit das Beste für uns gegeben. Vom Zimmerupgrade, über Transfers, Hilfe beim Telefon und der Apotheke, Durchführung einer Fahrradtour und einem Kochkurs auf seiner Farm mit super vielen Infos über Land und Leute. Er arbeitet normalerweise für den Studienreiseveranstalter Studiosus und kennt sein Handwerk sehr gut. Leider hat die Wasserversorgung mal nicht funktioniert, das Schwimmbad war nicht nutzbar und das Mädchen für alles hat Corona bekommen. Wir wünschen Marcel, dass sich bald wieder alles eingespielt hat und die Coronapause endgültig vorbei ist.

Bezaubernd, liebevolle Details von gemütlichen Nachttischlampen (Seltenheit in Thailand), einer großzügigen Veranda vor den Zimmern bis hin zu richtigen Handtüchern. Die Ventialoren sind ebenfalls genial. Marcel ist ein erwiesener Thailandexperte und bietet unkomplizierte Unterstützung bei Fragen. Möchte keine Minute meines achtwöchigen Sabbaticals dort missen.
