This is a small hotel with few rooms. The people ***aging the property are extremely friendly. The rooms are clean but is in need of some refurbishment. The window blind in the room was falling off and tied to the window with strings. The shower in the washroom spewed water in almost any direction and the pipes were leaking. With small inves**ent this place can be much better. Carry your own toiletries. There is a traditional Tamil food restaurant next door which was nice. The hotel diligently served tea and coffee and also breakfast which we didn't have.

In a small and quiet street, your nights will be good for sure. The hotel is very charming, nice ancien furniture, very classy. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the bathroom simple but ok, water is warm. The breakfast is indian, and was very good. The service is very helpful. It's really a good choice in Thanjavur. The restaurant nearby,Chellammals ***paanai samayal, is absolutely delicious.

Amazing place. Very classy. Absolute recommend this place. Walkable distance from the Big temple. Close to the railway station (120₹ by auto) Great posh locality with a great eating place nearby. The place looks like an antique museum. Very comfortable and beautiful rooms. Responsive and helpful staff and ***agement. Overall a great experience

The hotel is a gem of a place to stay in the heart of the city. The staff were polite and the housekeeping is impeccable. The breakfast was delicious and the overall stay was comfortable and refreshing. Anyone visiting must try out the Chellammal’s ***panai samayal adjacent to this hotel where you can have authentic traditionally cooked food. Had an overall at home feel.

The boutique hotel feels like home away from home. Hospitality of the crew is amazing. I reached really early (5am) but they helped me get a cab and allowed early check in. Food next doors at the veg restaurant is amazing - do not miss that. I will come back whenever I am visiting Tanjore.
