We didnt know there were steps to get there and another route will be slopes only to pull up all our luggages.

There was a lot of dust behind the bed that was visible and the carpet definitely needs replacing. Seeing the shower is in the bath you have to be very careful regarding people stepping in and out. I feel that handrails must be installed otherwise you will have someone falling, especially the elderly. You can tell that People are using the towel rail to hold on to as they enter and exit the shower. Our towel rail was actually bent because someone had put a lot of pressure on it trying to get out. Regarding communication, we were told we would receive a text when our room was ready. We waited until 3:10 and we still didn’t receive a text so we went back. And yes our room was ready but no one let us know which was disappointing. Other than that the bed was comfy and the air con was sufficient. And location is perfect. Just needs a general upgrade.

We stayed in a Queen Terrace room and it was spacious and the bed was comfortable. However the stairs were very steep and the property really needs some updating, I think the appliances were from 1968!! I had a fall on the steps leading to the outside and when I informed the staff they offered no help even though I was bleeding and had a bit of a fright.

Fantastic location. Great staff. Great lobby. Room was older and not cleaned or maintained great, but it was acceptable given the location.

Location, location, location. This hotel was perfect for a pre cruise stay.
We walked out luggage to the drop off point in under 5 minutes.
Many restaurants and pubs nearby and a convenience store just a few doors away. The kitchenette was well stocked but there was no dining table.
There is no bar not restaurant on site but the pool area, which included a spa pool was very inviting.
If you wish for a port view ensure you reserve a balcony above the 3rd floor...

The hotel is old and in need of updating. We had a king room at the end of a hotel with a small kitchenette.
We found a cockroach on the top of the small fridge one morning and alerted the hotel front desk on our way out for the day.
Upon our return from our outing we found the cockroach was still there. No further communication from the hotel staff regarding this.
My husband killed the roach and we were leaving the next day but it was gross and unnerving.

Property was perfect for our one night stay before boarding a cruise ship. It was an easy walk to the Overseas Passenger Terminal, and we were able to drop our bags off at 9am and then come back to the room for breakfast.
The property is showing some general wear and tears but that’s to be expected with the building it’s self being older. Our room was spacious and we loved the little balcony we had over looking the harbour.
