I travel alot staying in many lovely motels but the Milton Chalet was the first one I have ever unpacked at and felt settled and at home. I loved my stay

The chalet was very cosy and comfortable and had everything could think of for a family. The staff were really lovely, welcoming and accommodating to any requests. Would stay again.

We went over to Nelson for an Obedience show. Being allowed our dogs in the Motel is just awesome. The proprietor made us and our dogs feel very welcome . Would use this motel again.

Disappointed after reading positive reviews with regards to cleanliness and comfort. Plunger coffee supplied but no Plunger, had to wash all crockery and utensils as food and grease on everything, no sky tv for $130. Per night. Very basic, bedding grubby marks but sheets were clean, towels ok. Check in experience the best part of the stay. Filled with mainly MSD people, but we had no issues. Sadly would not stay again and definitely would not be recommending the property
