Kumsheen Rafting Resort

We had a great time. We went down the Nicola river with a small group. The guides were knowledgeable and fun, lunch was great. We had one minor incident, but it was handled quickly and professionally. I'd definitely recommend kumsheen in the future.

We had an amazing experience at the resort and rafting. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed the pool, snack bar, chess and more. As a family of 4, we stayed in a teepee with ample room. The rafting was beyond amazing and our guide, Elliot was phenomenal. Our only recommendation is to have a few BBQs.

What an amazing experience! Our family went with 2 other families. We stayed in one of the canvas tents. They are super cute and clean. Linen and towels were provided. There was a lot of activities for everyone, pool, hot tub, basketball, volleyball, tetherball and of course rafting! There is a nice coffee bar and gift shop. They had a live band by the pool, great atmosphere after a day of rafting. I recommend the full day raft. Lunch (delicious burrito bar) was provided. They bussed us to a location, went over safety specifics and off we went! Tija was our raft guide and he was terrific! Our family had a great time and would definitely go again. Thanks for the memories!

My wife and I we July 14-16. We spent two nights in a king cabin. The cabin was spacious and very comfortable. This is a family founded, owned and operated resort, and it shows in how they treat their guests. The staff exceeded all my expectations. They are so attentive and friendly! We had the opportunity to meet the owners, and they are such lovely people. Our meals were also excellent, in a beautiful setting. My wife doesn’t raft so I was on my own rafting. I’ve rafted a few other rivers, but this was the best time I’ve had yet. In fact, I had an incredible time. SO MUCH FUN. The first day I was power rafting, which was new to me. I wasn’t sure I was going to like it, but it was AWESOME! I was on a boat with a great group. We had so much fun with our guide Taija, who along with being knowledgeable was really funny. A great day with a really good burrito buffet lunch. On Sunday I went for the full day paddle rafting with Annie. This is a completely different experience, again with lunch. Annie was awesome, again very knowledgeable, funny and great stories. I had such a great day, and our daughter was able to join me, which made it even better. After a day rafting, we hung out at the pool, near the bar. Such a great area. Live music at night and drinks with new friends and some staff and guides. Our meals were very good in a beautiful setting. All in all an excellent time. In fact we’re going back mid August. I suspect this will be a regular thing now. Thank you to everyone for making our time there so enjoyable and memorable.

Taija was a wicked tour guide on the Thompson today! Had such a blast and not everyone can say they go on a “business trip” like this 🤣 Got a shirt to prove I did it but that doesn’t mean I won’t be coming back. I would have such a blast going again!! Plus the burrito bar we got was awesome! Thanks Kumsheen, see ya again

We booked a Teepee each for one night before rafting the next day. The whole thing was very well organised and our guide Elliot told lots of great stories. About Bernie and how he built kumsheen into the great place it is now. Fantastic experience all round and Beautiful scenery, and wildlife.

Did a 4 hour rafting trip as a work event with the entire staff. Immediately we were greeted with a very tasty lunch in the restaurant. Our raft guides, Conner and Taija were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. Both were very safety-oriented and made sure everyone felt confident in the water. We had the best time. Couldn't stop smiling the whole time. I would recommend Kumsheen to anyone wanting to experience rafting. Thank you for such a great experience, I will be back next year!

Great Property! GREAT STAY! Was not as cold as I had packed for sleeping. Unfortunately, the pool & bar were closed for maintenance, but will definitely be back! Great staff! Fun amenities! Great for kids!

I did the full day raft with my mother, I absolutely will go again in the future. Our river guide Annie was a pleasure, and I felt safe the entire time. While on the raft, we switched seats between the big rapids so everyone could get a chance to sit at the front. Highly recommend everyone who doesn't mind a little adrenaline goes!
